The ACNH Rant Thread

Totally. It makes me hold onto items and wait til it opens so I don't have to deal with that extra useless piece of dialogue when I start up the game again.
Which defeats the purpose of making it convenient. Like I said before, unnecessary text. They could've easily had a message app on the phone where you could check it at your leisure to see things like them depositing money in your bank or whatever.

How does this game not have something as common as a water sprinkler? I wanted to create a farm aesthetic with one that is running, but no dice. All the other games had it.

Also had corn row furniture. Loved the cornfield I made with it in NL. I was hoping with the introduction with vegetables they'd bring it back with other vegetables and fruits like watermelon ect. The 2.0 trailer from what I remember listed off all the crops we had and then went on to say 'and more!' except that was a lie.

I am annoyed. We had the Mossy Garden Theme in previous games. But here, no bird feeder, bug zapper, picnic table, or sprinkler. The picnic table is kinda a key thing for outdoor furnishings.

Monkey's paw. They'll do this in the next game, but it'll let villagers text you and they'll get rid of the mailbox.

The "Room is full you cannot add anything else" is so annoying whenever you're trying to put a lot of stuff in a room weather you're making a Wedding Anniverarsy photo for Reese and Cyrus or making a Vacation home at the Resort there is still a lot more space to put more stuff.

Wait, the rooms have space limits?

Does this apply to the facilities as well?

flowers in this game are painful to deal with. Why don't they wilt like previous games? (unless you use beautiful ordinance) because I spent like two hours today just digging irrelevant flowers on my cliffs lol

Pier fishing is objectively terrible and the rates of the pier-exclusive fish being so low are ridiculous.

4 bait and two ****ing sea bass thanks Nintendo I really wanted that.

Since it's been three years and over 40 million copies have been sold, I have updated the spoiler rule. We all went through the events and upgrades in the game.

Anyways, I was glad about the big ACNH 2.0 update back in 2021, but there's a lot left to be desired.
  • There's no tropical fruits or Gracie furniture. I could have some good use of banana and lemon recipes.
  • The Early Bird and Night Owl ordinances are complete jokes. One extra hour is not enough. I was expecting three hours, with two as a minimum.
  • The game would also benefit if it had added mini-games like what the Welcome amiibo update did with ACNL.
In some ways, the game feels like a complete upgrade to ACNL. The freedom in island design was more than what my ideas planned. But in other ways, it feels like a downgrade. It's like the GameCube version vs Wild World again, but more modern.
