I've been noting this from earlier in the game actually, originally, I thought it was just paranoia, and frankly I think that there's a lot of town doing it, but the behavior is just strange

I will also swear on my life that I saw Evan comment on Trundle favorably and can't find it, and I specificially went to bed noting it I thought

Trundle's post is meh idk why people think his post is kinda suspicious

First serious defense of Trundle, and in my eyes, the most atroiticious. Ness was the only one to mention Trundle, even in passing, and Unravel felt the need to downplay it, but expanded it's importance, despite it only being Ness. In the Unravel/Trundle team world, I think that Ness would be the only person (besides people who kinda just last out the game and have little influence (which is especially important in kingmaker)) to come close to scum at this point. On another note, looking at the post, I actually don't like Unravel's RQS answers because she's trying to frame them like their random people who have posted, but chucks in Bianca, who had not posted at this time (ironically, she made this mistake in the last kingmaker, which this jumped to mind)

Guess the scum team:

Frankly, the rest of the defenses are to Trundle's emotional breakdown, but I actually don't like Unravel's RQS when I went looking back for this type of content

Hello everyone!!

Based on what I read so far, and I am only up to 19 pages I think, we should not sus people who are just asking for RQs to be made as I don't really see anything special about it. Being sussed over your answers in the RQs are just too early, but then again, I remember a game where they nailed mafia based off RQs ( I think it was Ayaya- I dont remember the game). But for me, yes, I will not see anything special about sussing over RQs. I could throw in names and it could be a tactic to distance themselves from people so I would take it with a grain of salt.

I like Chele's defense of this but Evan is right, Chele can appear towny and be scum (like she indicated, because of our previous games, I do not towered Chele so easily (sorry girl!

As for scum, I am going to make it truly random and guess that it is Runeraider, Punchy, Mogyay and Evan (and yes Evan it is long overdue!).

I will read the other pages later.

I can see why you can use my meta to scum lean me and it makes sense. I don't even remember making those posts. And another thing to add to that is the meta of adding ... to my posts like Kirby accused me of in Caxnival. And it just coincided also that I am scum when I added "..." to my posts so yeah it seems scummy and I really have no defense for that. All I can say is based off meta, yes it might seem I'm scum but only if you are using meta for your reads. I don't read meta but different strategies right

Well it's the first of what I have seen from Antonio. I could understand Trundle and Ness. I am just curious on Antonio( Temptations ) motivations to keep us updated with his printer. I could interpret it like this:

1) He is mafia and he is trying to give off a friendly vibe and impression that he has IRL thing going on if he cannot reply
2) He is genuinely trying to play the game and trying to improve his presence.

I could see why Trundle would think that because it seems filler. But then I could see why Ness is right that we should not suss people because of IRL problems. It reminds me of a game where I think Bowie sussed someone because they are not eating lunch or something or something like that. It still chuckles me to this day

I'm not trying to mock you guys lol, I think the only reason I reacted that way is because Ness' reads were so bad in my eyes that I thought he must have been intentionally trying to screw with me. After not playing so long, I suppose I forgot how bad other players' reads can be. We're all chill.

It is incredibly rare I interact with evan in a game because I can never read him. I usually just completely ignore his stuff other than simply reading it from what I remember so I find it unlikely that he commented on me.

Is this not how Bianca always reads people in games? Looked absolutely normal to me just based on previous behavior. But I agree that I was overestimating how much content was actually there. The post you don't like anything about also seems like just how Bianca talks to me.

Your RQS actually tipped me off originally. Before you even posted that newer one I was incredibly suspicious of you. Why? Let's dig in:

What is your timezone and how active will you be? EST, and idk, classes start again tomorrow

Do you think it's fair to read people off their RQS answers?: sometimes they can be telling I think but its more useful just to get people talking tbh

What are indicators of someone (any random person) being scum in your opinion?: I rely heavily on reading posts' wording usually

Non-committal: Your RQ responses look like you're trying to stay as passive as possible. I can almost smell a fear in your posts that is never there when you're town. There is so much "maybe" and "idk", and the last question's response with the "usually" at the end makes me feel like there is a huge element of wariness coming from you.

I don't really want to pull too much out of the RQS considering it's just an RQS, so I'll move onto your next post.

Friends and I are at a study lounge right now just chilling but I wanted to come in and drop a little thought I had while skimming over posts from last night to now

There's a lot of really strange energy coming from Mog and Waffles, and their interaction was charged from Trundle. I don't really know what got mog a little tempered exactly a few pages ago (right after waffle's open RQS), but the whole interaction felt a little more personal/out of game than coming from in game content, if that makes sense. I would not be surprised at all if theres AT LEAST one mafia in Mog, Waffles and Trundle.

another little side note about that though, mog's play right now is actually kinda thorough, does not feel like the mog that I made mafia in Steven universe (I'm not one for using meta much anymore, but mafia mog is definitely more weary/nervous- not sure how that's changed since her inactivity tho)

So between mog waffles and trundle, I get the most towny vibes from mog - but I just felt weird reading most of their posts.
I will be reading more when I get back to my dorm ===)

(1) Smiley face: The "===)". Where does it come from? Is this a town member that is genuinely excited about reading more when he gets back to his dorm? It doesn't read like that to me. Looks to me, genuinely, like a nervous emoticon. I don't know how to explain it properly, hopefully Heyden can because he is usually really good at explaining this stuff.
(2) The fixation on me, mog, and unravel: I really do not see the connection between the three of us (or lack of connection you might have been looking at). It looks like you are listing off a small group where a tiny bit of content happened where you know there are three townies and call "at LEAST one mafia" in the three of us to make a safe general contribution where nobody could call you out if you were wrong.

I hope Heyden or someone else who agrees with me can elaborate more. I haven't actually attempted to explain my reads in a game since my prime mafia time but I'm actually trying to be useful right now so I hope you all enjoy. If you liked it please subscribe and give my video a thumbs up.

What is it that you don't like about my post? and just because I questioned Punchy on him townlocking Mog right away infers that me and mog are not team? if i want to distance myself from mog, i would not even address that. All I am saying is Punchy is quick to say townlock, he could have said she seems town from her tone but townlocking someone is just too early.

I don't think Trundle is townlocking me. He is just saying I appear town, much as Vanessa said I appear scummy. They have their own interpretation. But one thing is certain, Trundle seems nicer. It's a long way from screaming at me to shut up.
