If punchy flips scum I think obv lynch toads next, they're WAY too buddy-buddy.

Not entirely sure why kingmaker picked rune but they're not the worst choice. I'm really not liking their not following majority...but if we don't have many MLs then kingmaker exists for a reason, to potentially override a bad decision from the broader playerbase.

Who did Jacob townread again? Why aren't we looking into them more?

He townread me, Bianca and Vanessa. Could just be him trying to look good and trying to fit in some “genuine play”, or maybe he tried to follow the common TL’s at the time (would explain Vanessa, I was sorta TL’d), but idk about Bianca.
The reason we’re not looking into Jacob’s TL’s is because we’re just waiting for Punchy’s alignment so that we could clear people and find scum within PoE.
Also speaking of alignment, would there be any detectives in the game (I’m not asking for role claim and discussing who is detective)? Not sure whether they would’ve investigated Punchy, but at the same time, it kinda wouldn’t help if Punchy is a maf godfather.

@Chele if Punchy flipped scum, I’d say yes, Toads is likely scum, but idk if he’d bring so much attention to himself. Regardless, I do believe not lynching punchy is anti-town at this point. If he does flip town then I was wrong but I’m not gonna spend the rest of the game with this stress on me.

Also blue to mafia ratio is 1.25:1 ideally, so 4 scum = 5 PRs, but given kingmaker needs more townies I’d say 4 PRs. Those PRs are obviously cop (for the godfather/framer), doctor (for maf roleblocker), hero (always in kingmakers) and vigilante bc 4 scums to 12 town is unbalanced without a killing town, but obviously we have a town roleblocker since Punchy wasn’t shot last night. Unless of some extreme circumstance.

doesnt occams razor mean that its more likely that we dont have a vig rather than the vig got blocked or smth, its just more likely. prob not a great idea to discuss blue roles tho

Ya I’ll be pissed if town roleblocker is in the game over vigilante, the only thing town rber can do is block a roleblock or a frame which is so unlikely and useless in the first place. At the start of the game I honestly thought there’d be 2 vigs.

I've been looking at the vote counts and Jacob only emerged when he had majority votes over Punchy, which makes me nervous but I've gone too far to go back now lmao.

People not voting Jacob were: Heyden, Dolby, Chele, Antonio, Vanessa, Punchy, Bianca, Tae
Voting Jacob was: Trundle, Waffles, Rune, Mog, Ness Toads Evan

From that top list the only people I would consider lynching are Punchy/Bianca/Tae/Chele, and I definitely think that 3 of those would not comprise of the scum team. Something isn't adding up right imo but I'll do more tomorrow when people are actually online.

Vanessa - killed Jacob, yet didn't vote him. Stands by she was all for a jacob lynch... but didn't vote him. There is nothing really that clears vanessa and she is stepping up to really hammer punchy. She was cool calm and collected as a king, took a back seat most of the day... but when it came down to it her hands really were tied and she had to vote jacob bottom line. That last ditch effort though... if you want to talk about me trying to swerve a lynch onto bianca, you have to take into account that vanessa did a very similar thing.

I don't remember saying I was all for a Jacob lynch. I said that I didn't think he was scum due to not voting for Punchy thus not trying save himself. I also said in all caps I was angry about having to execute him lol. I think I even switched to saying the lynch should be between Bianca Punchy and Rune at one point, but that could be a fever memory as I was shaking and crying for the last 15 minutes of EoD. Point is, I didn't say "oh yeah Jacob is scummy" and then not vote for him like obviscum. And if anyone wants to argue that I would say "I WILL EXECUTE JACOB BUT I WILL BE ANGRY ABOUT IT" as scum instead of bussing to make myself look good, then idk what to tell you.

Heyden - I don't get scum vibes from heyden as much as some of the others. I do have trouble reading you, but your apathy towards punchy right now seems the most genuine. Where as vanessa and chele have gotten new bloodlust

I also explained last night why I want punchy dead. I'm not even 100% convinced he is scum, probably about 80%. But even if he's town I still want him out, I just want to know his alignment so we can stop talking about it and can get on with figuring out the rest of the scum team. Most of the people in this thread minus yourself and Rjne have expressed the same sentiment, not just me and Chele.

If punchy is scum I don't know if that necessarily means Toads is scum
Why would he so obviously continue to defend Punchy...that just makes him look sus. I think as scum he would know to just go for the bus at this point, unless scum is just REALLY concerned with keeping members alive at the cost of making other members look bad. Idk how great of a strategy that is though, it might get them through the day but it won't get them the win.
Also Toads will be the EASIEST wagon to jump on after Punchy flips scum. He might be being set up so that after scum loses Punchy, Toads is a guaranteed lynch and scum doesn't have to worry about losing another member.
Obviously I don't agree with Toads not wanting to get rid of Punchy. It's very anti-productive for town. But Toads as town is not one to go with the consensus or back off his opinion, as I've said before. I mean back in Caxnival he literally lead like 3 mislynches in a row and was still town. He's often wrong, but that doesnt mean he is scum.

TLR I'm weary of lynching Toads without question after Punchy because it's super easy for scum to frame and pull off

Exactly. If punchy flips scum, I'm going to be more suspicious of those who immediately jump on toads than toads himself

I have a hunch Ness is scum but I haven’t bothered making a case yet. If you look at Ness’ post filter before EoD1 he’s not really taking a side in Jacob/Punchy until Jacob reaches majority in the last minute.
Not to mention his last minute change after mog decided to change to punchy... hmmmmm
