I get your point that people will be in school/work at 2PM or 4PM pacific time, but at the same time people outside the US are now also sleeping or at school/work with the current times and will miss out every round for a chance for extra tickets
Let's take Half past hoodwinked which has 3 rounds. Now it's 7PM (east)US, 1AM (central)EU and 8AM Japan, 9AM Australia. Last 3 groups will have a lot of users who are already in bed or at school/work for all 3 rounds. But what if it will be like this:
Round 1: 7PM (east)US, 1AM (central)EU and 8AM Japan, 9AM Australia
Round 2: 1PM (east)US, 7PM (central)EU and 12AM Japan, 1AM Australia
Round 3: 9AM (east)US, 3PM (central)EU and 10PM Japan, 11PM Australia
That way everyone has the same chances and every country has a round where they will be at home in the evening. And maybe some US pacific time users will only see the round 3 - 9AM (FT) which then will be early in the morning and think it's unfair, but in the meantime house of nightmares also starts every round at 6AM in Japan right now where the chance of being the first one to answer it pretty small.
I know it's too late for now, but maybe it's an idea for the next fair.
