The Cosy Couch: Ask Your TBT Fair Questions Here!

I'm currently doing the 3-4 sentence writeup for the Cozy Photo Challenge #3 (care package) and it's clocking in at a little longer than I expected because I chose a fair few items. Will I be disqualified if my entry is a little more like 5-6 sentences long?

How do you know if your entry gets accepted or not? I wonder about my magazine entry and the little lullabies ones.
Once your entry has been reviewed it will be marked with either the Accepted or Update Needed prefix:

You will not be disqualified for writing more.

This was probably asked before, but here it goes, I really want the plushies collectables, and I've been doing events and contests to get enough tickets for them. My question is will the tickets will be distributed at the same time? Because I'm scared the will disappear in a second and I will lose my chance of getting them. Thanks.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking here. The details for distribution of the first batch of tickets is outlined here. Everyone who entered the events listed will receive their tickets at the same time.

I missed that post, yes that was what I was asking, I will try to get one, thanks!

Has anyone else noticed when they go to their private submissions boards and submit entries for all the events, there is no indication if their event submission was accepted or not? I submitted for “Sleep over at Harvey’s” and the “count inside the bottle round 1” back on Friday. The bottle count round 1 just finished, my entry was never marked accepted - despite following submission guidelines.

All of the entries I submitted for the Carousel of Contests have been listed as “accepted” (the green box next to the title of my submission).

Does that mean my events submissions were never accepted - as they have never been updated with the green “accepted” box? Several events I submitted for have been closed already (first and second rounds are completed) and my submissions have never been marked “accepted” even though I followed the submission directions.

Out of curiosity, is this happening for anyone else?

Yes not everything is marked as accepted here.

Count Inside the Bottle entries are not marked as accepted because we process them based on what is written in the numerical field only.

Half-Past Hoodwinked and House of Nightmares are only marked as accepted if (a) the answer is correct and (b) the round has closed.

Are we allowed to edit our Dream Sequence entries once posted?

I noticed a small error on mine that I totally missed when I submitted it this morning. Would it be okay if I go fix that with an edit or do I have to just let it be? I noticed no disclaimer about editing in the rules but typically TBT contests disallow editing.

Please do not edit your entry once submitted! :)

Hi I noticed on our private submissions, that one of my entries was accepted. I have submitted entries for all almost all the contests , however I only saw one Marked as accepted. Does this mean that I submitted all the others wrong?

I hope this can answer your question:

EDit: I just re-read your post and actually it's probably just that not all the entries have been reviewed yet

Oh ok! I was starting to worry. Do we get notifications if it’s not approved or submitted improperly?

I think so? You'd probably have to check on the individual threads or wait for a staff member to answer, because I'm not sure and I'd rather not say dumb stuff ;;>_>

If your entry is incomplete or does not meet the submission guidelines, it will be marked with a red 'Update Needed' prefix and a staff member will notify you within your private submission thread. For events that do not use the private submission board, a staff member will typically PM you or notify you within the event thread.

For all contests/events that require private submissions, please review the Contest and Event Private Submission Guide before posting to ensure your entry is submitted properly and counted. You may not receive a notice if these directions are not followed and it could impact your submission. If you posted something accidentally, please reach out to the host of that particular event/contest. :)

This is a question for the design staff :]

Are these typefaces or hand drawn? I love the way they look, and would possibly like to license them if I could! I have only a very small collection of script-like typefaces and would like to know the names of these (if I can) so I can collect more 🙇‍♂️ 💙

Whats the maximum amount of tickets you can earn for this round of tickets going out. I really want the chibi standee but I dont even know if those 55 tickets are reachable yet.

I know I didn't reach them but I Need It ;;

I've been calculating and if I'm right it won't be enough tickets for the standee even if you participated with everything, won the trivia night, be staff favorite and the first to answer for bonus tickets where it could and had all answers guessed perfect.

37. This total assumes you had one of the closest answers in Count Inside the Bottle, answered Half-Past Hoodwinked correctly, got at least one question right first in Discord Trivia, and submitted correct guesses in both rounds of House of Nightmares.

Discord Trivia 1st/2nd/3rd place winners and the staff favourite tickets will not be going out today.

Maybe an odd question, but is it possible to take a second look at the starting time of events? Not to be rude and I love the events, but the US has a small advantage with most of the events when it's coming to the times events start. Especially with the "first one to answer" tickets.

House of nightmares is 5PM US, 11PM (central)EU and 6AM Japan, 7AM Australia
Trivia Night is 7PM US, 1AM (central)EU and 8AM Japan, 9AM Australia
Half past Hoodwinked also 7PM US, 1AM (central)EU and 8AM Japan, 9AM Australia

It's just a suggestion, but why not do different starting times for each round? Some with EU in the beginning of the evening, some with Australia in the beginning of the evening. That way everyone has the same chance to participate and/or bonus tickets :) Now it's that in the US most people will be at home and in other countries people are sleeping or already off to work.
