oooh the last few pages have been spicy

now i actually dont know what to think of dolby since i have glow on the other side of the spectrum and she voted for him hmm

lmao maybe you are scum together after all, considering you've mentioned voting him but now you're looking for excuses to backtrack since i've voted (why do you sus me again?) and others have mentioned being open to the option.

and last i checked he susses you as well, but all of a sudden votings today and he doesn't mention you at all.

Yeah, I know that everybody changes their reads from time to time, and I understand that Evan's whole reads are messed up and all over the place, but he didn't care to explain his Bianca, Dolby, and Dad scumreads at the time. Also, on his recent reads list, it really didn't make sense (his explanations for his scumreads). He scumread Bianca over a joke.
Doesn't that at least ring 1 bell in your head that he could potentially be a Maf?

I'm sus on Kit and Karen. Mostly Kit. I have a big feeling that she says coasting.

Yes, it does, which is why I've indicated quite a few times that I'm not sure what to make of him, I'm just unsure which is why I've been asking questions / presenting other opinions, I want to form strong reasons before voting someone, D1 is important and I don't want a mislynch because I was influenced by someone else's posts and not questioning and forming my own thoughts.

I do however fail to how Evan saying he hates to lose a townie is scummy in any way? The way I read it is, if Aron is lynched and is town, it won't be a good thing (obviously), lynching town D1 is never a good thing, but it seems like he thinks the possibility of Aron actually being scum overrides the loss that town will suffer if he does in fact, flip town.

Yeah, I understand that on the surface it looks acceptable. The reason why it looks scummy is because it's likely to be a perspective slip. What I mean by this is that Evan said "I hate to lose a townie D1" is him saying it from a mafia perspective, AKA he understands that Aron really is a townie and is telling the truth with his claim.

I have seen perspective slips on TBT several times before, one that is fairly recent is Kirbystarship from Mystic Messenger mafia. Kirby was scum in that game and said this to Daniel (third party):

because you're TP.

Understand that 1 word can make a huge difference in how something can be interpreted. If Evan had said "I would hate to lose a townie D1" instead of "I hate losing a townie D1" then it would be a perfectly normal thing to say.

I think I'm with ness on the Evan vote. May change my mind in the next hour but I'm feeling decently confident on this one.

By now I would have expected Evan to give his signature "LOLOLOL if Ness actually manages to lead a lynch on me I'll claim" posts but he seemed much more mellow in his last post when others began to pick up on my suspicion of him.

Just got back from dinner, and now family is pressuring me to watch a show with them, so I'm going to go through your case and give a defense and hope for the best. I'd rather not claim right now but I am willing to if a mass vote materializes. (RN I think I'm in the lead with 3 votes, nowhere near a level I should claim at)

Evan, can you please back your reasons up, and give us an explanation on why we shouldn't lynch you?
Because right now you ar set to be lynched.

Not sure if Bowie's read through the thread yet (I remember him viewing earlier) but I'd like to note his quietness

I would disagree. with so many coasters and only a few hours, anything that can back up your case should be posted right now.

There's only about and hour and a half left until you get lynched.
Just claim now. If you're a Townie then there's no struggle for that.
Or maybe... are you a blue?

it's a lot to read through. they're probably still going through it.

Or are you trying to make a role up?

Bowie is reading the thread. He is viewing rn.

Alright so I asked Aron what his role name was because I wanted to see if he just said a generic 'citizen' type thing or an actual character, and the actual character, as people have analyzed, would make sense for a townie character. I haven't played the game either. But the host sliding in to warn them not to explain the flavor text of their PM throws me waaaay tf back because that seems like something host would do for town; perhaps the nervous tic Aron has had all this time has indeed been because he's talkative and mafia is taking advantage of how I was leading against a newb for an easy lynch, although now apparently it's evan?

tbh I wouldn't mind an Oath or Dolby lynch, but if Evan is maf, him riding on my coattails against Aron would make sense. I don't want to believe he's mafia though.

ok regarding amazon's slip:

i see it both ways, ness already covered the one where it could be read as a slip, so i'll do the other one:

I hate losing a townie D1 // but I think the risk of letting aron live if he is scum is far greater than the benefit of letting him live if he's town.

this is where i could read it as two separate thoughts, as in losing townie is just a general comment on mafia in general, ie not liking a townie getting lynched d1, and the latter half after the // is specific to this situation. it's not a great sentence style but one that i do all the time when i'm lazy

This bothers me so much because I can kinda see it. If Evan is mafia, somebody in their team who played with me when I was town before probably knows how I have a tendency to be more likely to townread people who agree with my reads and help in interrogating people to form them and it's possible that's what's gone on here but I stg I'll be pissed if this is specifically what happened because I remember scumchat doing that to me before.

Evan is looking pretty scummy right now Dad, are you really not going to address my case on him? Because I believe I found *the* one. Should I *gasp* propose?
