Alright so I asked Aron what his role name was because I wanted to see if he just said a generic 'citizen' type thing or an actual character, and the actual character, as people have analyzed, would make sense for a townie character. I haven't played the game either. But the host sliding in to warn them not to explain the flavor text of their PM throws me waaaay tf back because that seems like something host would do for town; perhaps the nervous tic Aron has had all this time has indeed been because he's talkative and mafia is taking advantage of how I was leading against a newb for an easy lynch, although now apparently it's evan?

tbh I wouldn't mind an Oath or Dolby lynch, but if Evan is maf, him riding on my coattails against Aron would make sense. I don't want to believe he's mafia though.

On the host thing, Toads pretty much confirmed that his post was made publicly to warn everyone that posts like that are not allowed. (He liked my post where I stated that I assumed it was a warning, and he would have done it either way, scum or not)

Reasoning behind a Dolby lynch? I'm leaning that way right now

Where was I twisting aron’s words exactly? Dad challenged aron in much the same way and I don’t see you having any issue with his challenge of aron. What aron said is filled with scum motivation and so I pointed it out.

As for dad/dolby scum team, I forgot about the balancing thing but assuming there’s a 5 man scum team, two godfathers on a 5 man team isn’t exactly unprecedented. 4 man maf team, ok a little too far. Furthermore, I am not scumreading them now. I am townleaning dad and null reading dolby, though dolby is making me more uncomfortable.

Bianca fake roleclaimed when the rolepms were being sent out. I guess my computer messed up or something because I didn’t see the fancy coloration when I read it, which makes it pretty obvious is a joke. Anyone seeing bianca’s post, claiming she was Epona, when rolepms were being sent out, could have made the mistake I did. Why does that make me scum exactly? I don’t know.

Furthermore, I did state in a few posts that Bianca was trying to not act like her scum self and was openly posting about it, which was sus to me. So Ness is saying I didn’t give reasons, when I did.

Pressed for time so I can’t reference it, but in short I said “how was I supposed to know it was a joke? He literally made one post saying I was scum and dropped off the face of the earth after I asked him why. Guess the whole thread assumed it was a joke except me and never bothered to mention it.” I happen to think someone who’s coasting and made a wild accusation is scummier than someone fretting over their grammar, yes. Why would I bus over something minor like Kit’s post? He was in no trouble at all.

Again, in short, I was saying that aron could be like chick (which again, I’ve said many times in this thread), and it’d be bad if he really is town, but with day 1 losing a townie is not as bad vs. potentially letting a scum get away. I have no clue who aron is, but I do admit this sounds really bad, and if you lynch me over it then so be it. Le sigh.

I said we should still lynch him over the rolename if it’s insignificant, because if the role is an insignificant NPC then it’s likely aron is using a safeclaim. If it’s a super important role in BOTW then obviously I don’t want him to die, since that means he’s good.

I hate losing a townie D1 but I think the risk of letting aron live if he is scum is far greater than the benefit of letting him live if he's town.

When you originally voted Aron with me I was hoping it was for all the nervous behavior and reactions that gave me a scumread from them but now this is the reason Aron should be lynched? Yes, the slip is the wording choice. I can see how this would be a grammar mistake as Karen pointed out, but given that Evan almost always has near perfect grammar I'm inclined to believe I'm right about it.

I have two problems with his explanation with Bianca.
1) How could your computer coincidentally not load the colours on Epona? Clearly it should've come up with the text size, and you should've known that it was fake, since I don't even think the PM's were handed out at that time.
2) I don't even think that the colours make it easy to see as a joke. If Bianca hadn't have put the colours on, even with the size on, I feel that it was very obvious that this was a joke. The colours to me don't make a difference. I know that there's red, blue, and green and the rainbow looks stupid in the post, but that Epona claim was very obvious.

He and Oath were some of my other scumleans along with Heydenn but I retract that Oath should be the one to be lynched tbh because Dolby or Heydenn would actually give more information if I'm in fact wrong. I'm starting to see the points against Evan but his falling out of favor as one of my strongest townleans actually has more to do with other things that make more sense than the 'slip' thing, which alone I wouldn't really support lynching somebody over, but tbh I can see why evan has been kind of cool with me the entire day especially since he's the first person I openly townleaned and like I said people take advantage of me when I townlean them especially if they've seen how I play as town and get very strongheaded about certain people.

If Evan is inno then I can see Dolby and maybe Ness. Ness sorta swooped in to make a larger case from a smaller moment but at the same time I think he's improved as a player and this could be his townstyle. Evan going after Aron with me and now wanting to turn around and lynch him over the role thing makes me pretty uneasy as well tbh. If he's mafia and already given up I can see him doing what he's doing in these last hours as alignment setup knowing he's going to take one for mafia.

Dolby on the other hand, while he at least was somewhat anti-evan at the beginning, has been hopping around in his reads and really didn't go hard on Evan until Ness did. Eh. I think this is one of those cases where I have to say my work was for naught all day and I was wrong in many reads.
