d1 is really the only day we can vote someone truly null. the numbers for town will not work out otherwise
pls change your mind trent is not a good choice. do you think no kp will benefit the game?
man either way this is gonna be a looong game...
but yeah. i do think we shouldn't fully bet on either though because its a closed setup which allows for a lot of meddling on trundlers part.
but anyways a game mechanics post like this strikes me as town. i love sheeping you so i keep trying to find flaws in your game but you're too good

why you should vote for me!
-power to the people. i think it's in towns best interest to discuss who we want to take down together, just like a regular elim. leaving it up to just one person doesn't allow for ideas to bounce off of one another. and voting someone for king just to see what they'll do doesn't really get us anywhere, because a miskill could be town that we then tunnel, a mafkill could mean a double kill bc we didn't discuss, and either is kind of confusing for all of us. i think the cons outweigh the pros in this. we can't really afford to give mafia two kills. plus i have bad judgement so i wanna talk it through everyobe
- i wont kill an ia. as much as i would love to take down geoni and be right about it... i'm all for giving them a chance to speak. i think whoever becomes king should be very careful to not target someone who seems suspicious because of lack of substance. its a poor move in my opinion.
if we can follow these ideas with another person as king, thats also good! it doesn't matter who is king if we as a towncore are able to decide things together. it then puts mafia in the worst spot they could be if they're king- having to listen to the town.

honestly this seems a lil weird to me since it's directed specifically at shiny, maybe a bit pockety, but at the same time I think persuading someone to vote them as king at the start of day 1 is kinda ballsy play for a wolf so meh

shiny feels towny for this imo, I had the same thought that ness could potentially be pocketing there and i think recognising that possibility is more likely to come from town perspective
that sounds kind of rude tho, didn't they say they didn't want to be king?

still null enough that she deserves a chance. idk i just always think theres more viable options than the mostly ia people. we know theres probably at least 3 maf and two very ia people, if worst comes to worst snd they both flip mafia theres still one other amongst the talkers. so why dont we hunt for them instead?

just kinda general thoughts on shiny's posts in first 3 pages of the thread, they strike me as honest to a tea in terms of how they describe their playstyle and also in terms of their thoughts on trent and volt being mafia-y feels to-the-point, typically a playstyle i associate with town tbh
volt considering shiny's reason for mafiareading them as valid feels almost "too mafia-y to be mafia" tbh lol, in general i find it kinda towny when people accept their potential faults like that because it gives the person making the read a reason to push further; subconsciously i think town cares a less about that than mafia would

idk Gabby has had time and unless they change D2 I think it'll just be a slot we'll always wonder about. I don't think its a bad idea to get it over with early game and move on. low hanging fruit are always an issue

I am considering voting Ness but that probably means he kills Chris and I would have to be okay with that. Still trying to get a proper read for them bc Ness's read has faulty points but some reasonable oneswe dont care about their feelings we want to solve this game

i have volt, tessa, ness, trent and ribbit as townleans so i'm ok with crowning anyone in that group or crowning anyone who won't kill in that group
tessa is also offering to take other people's opinions into consideration which makes voting her feel more comfortable, bc it's more like a standard vote
i don't really have more thoughts besides those, i'm personally fine with policying geoni but i get why people wouldn't want to do that

btw i have a good read on my homesite for annika in turbos (basically very short time length games) so I think I may be able to read her decently here, but I'm not as confident in doing it in normal length games tbh (i was v uncertain on her alignment in a longer length game we had recently on mafia universe lol but eventually ended up reading correctly)
ill give my thoughts on her as i go through
