Arsonist was a mafia role in Bianca's last game but that was specified as an arsonist game. I doubt toad would specify but I could see it as maf or TP idk

Also @ Dolby I disagree, maybe to a town perspective it's hard to make that jump but put yourself in scum's shoes, and under the belief that Arso is a mafia role. Like maybe you'd have that thought of "wait isn't Arso a mafia role" but then your mind would go to your team and see that you don't have an Arso and be like "welp nvm".

it could be either way, but whatever it is, the point stands that Kat's insistence on punchy's innocence because of his arsonist question is (a) likely wrong and (b) poorly reasoned in my opinion. Very, VERY likely Kat is protecting punchy

I didn't state it that way at first either, only reason I bolded it was because that was the 3rd time I had to say it, it went ignored hardcore and that lack of attention towards it is also making me more confident in the clear since I think mafia would have jumped on it if the clear was incorrect.

Ness's posts make me feel pretty townish overall imo. I feel like he's been generating pretty good content when he's been present and I like his interaction here with Heyden in particular. It's not strong but slight townlead imo

The point about Ness not being an ace scumhunter neglects the exact ****ing point I was making about why I listed him as choice experienced player to put as mafia: it's not about him being an ace scumhunter, it's about him having shown he can pull through as mafia or third party, which he has demonstrated on multiple occasions here on tbt.

Astro/SarasKat not seeing that Ness is at least one of the more experienced players of the bunch is surprising considering she ran mystic messenger and a number of players in the game tipped their hats to Ness for his play there after he flipped.

Okay sure, it was a good play as Jester, but you're STILL using host bias. I don't give a monkey's left nut about host balancing, if you actually think someone is suspicious then have a better reason then just saying "oh they're experienced so they might be mafia in this group of people".

This is going to get annoying because it's only going to inflame the alignments that seem to be forcing themselves on me in this game but I agree with glow not liking Astro's sudden flip on me. Astro casually read me as town for my post but as soon as one of the biggest voices swoops in to make a case against me she suddenly turns around and is like 'oh woops I read Dad wrong, going to reread him now!'

It's going to come off as an omgus but I suspect astro as mafia. A lot more than Endless even. Despite him being back on his bull****.

Alright, I can agree with you that I do find Kat to be suspicious for doing a complete 180 on you.

Astro, I'll drop the topic after making one last statement on it: I recall Ness being able to get a fast lynch on evan in BotW mafia. So I've seen him lead too. But I digress because ya'll trying to use the argument that Ness is an incapable player against me is pretty dumb.

Ok, I TR Dedenne, but she seems a little different then the last two games where she was town.

I don't think I'll be on tomorrow cos I have to help family prepare for a Christmas party but I actually feel super uncomfortable with everyone jumping on Dad and think that Endless/Kat maybe glow is more likely pulling the strings here. I will say though this is the first time I'm not townreadinf Dad early on. Also Farobi, who's more interested in 'making alliances' than scumhunting, which gives me scum vibes. Don't think Punchy lynch will happen and I don't really feel it either.

As for Zendel/Vanessa/Ness, was mostly based on tonal differences but yeah I dunno I sort of just jumped on them based on first.

Okay, I absolutely LOVE the fact that heyden brought up Farobi here, I was just thinking the exact same thing. While I'm not really sold on Kat/Endless being behind the scenes right now, I really like this post. +1 to Heyden.

The reason I was PMing people is to probe deeper the things that could be said differently if in a more public setting, aka this thread. There are more people I initiated PMs with who are not what you may call the "easily manipulated" players fyi since I'm really working on town's best efforts individually as well with the information I'm trying to get for myself. I would do it in the thread but probing individually seems to be more personal, but judging from many of the replies I get they either seem hesitant or give me closed-off vibes so it's nothing for me to be able to delve into yet.

Would someone whose received a PM of Farobi possibly post it in the thread just so we can see what he's saying? Ty
