Nope. I have on very rare occasions had animals wanting to move on the day forward when traveling to my campsite but it's far more common on the time travel back, in my experience. But you're free to try and see what works for you.

A warning for you all; Villagers can move away without telling you, and also without having a day for packing up. I move one day BACKWARDS, and Muffy is gone. Her house vanished, the day before I talked to her several times as she walked around outside.

I NEARLY has the same problem.
You missed her opportunity to tell you.

I was walking around and sees Diana. Talking to her a lot of time without her mentioning anything.
Then went to Zell's house and he said that Diana is thinking about moving.
I rushed back to her and she didn't say anything.
I save and quit, TT a few hours forward.
She's approaching me and telling me she wants to move.
This is all happen in the same day.
So make sure to talk to at least some of your villagers a lot.
Especially if you have most of your dream villagers already

Chaos, sorry to bother you with another TT question, but you seem pretty experienced... If I don't have 10 villagers I'll be looking to recruit from the campsite, right? Then I'll get 10 and work getting them to move out so I can give them away?

Do what I'm doing right now, Just keep making a new character for your town and restarting until you get someone you want in the campsite, it can be very monotonous but is also very effective

Or an ordinance where the mayor could deny someone from moving in or putting their house in a certain location

Do what I'm doing right now, Just keep making a new character for your town and restarting until you get someone you want in the campsite, it can be very monotonous but is also very effective

When you go down to 8 you'll always get a 9th villager to pop up but I always keep an eye on my campsite for anyone popular. Animals will move out no matter how many villagers you have, you don't have to have 10 or anything.
