Since my bf's town nearly got his dream villagers (missing Goldie, Lolly, and Zell)
I figured giving away the rest of the villagers before he restart is the best way.

I'd prefer to give them to someone who has them as dream villager, but if there's none, you can adopt them away

Nope, not at all unusual. Happens to me a lot. As soon as I hit 9 I quickly drop back down to 8. x)

Crossing fingers for Tangy or Mitzi! Or really just any good cat! I have yet to get a villager move-in, only some reserves and all but one of those fell through.

Are you doing the two days forward two days back trick? Everyone asks to move out eventually!

I do. Always, but some days there's no one asking ;u;

1. TT to July 23 (using non-mayor character)
2. Save without talking to villagers
3. TT back to July 21
4. As mayor, talk to all villagers, seeing if someone wants to leave
If not, do you just repeat this, back and forth 7/21 & 7/23?

For me, it's usually in the back forward that the villagers ask for moving.
I just save without talking in the backwards.
