Well, I can stick to the whole first come first serve thing, or I can give the animal to someone who has been actively posting and looking for it but was seconds too late. I feel like a douchebag either way.

Does anyone know if there's a limit to how many villagers you can convince to move to your town within the same day? If it's possible to do that, would all the new villagers move in on the next day? Or would they the move in one by one within the next few days?

Wow... this thread got really depressing... but I feel as though the guy who said "dips" shouldnt get her... I mean... I've never even heard of him..

And the girl who gave me Punchy, I was the second to ask. But she gave him to me. FOR FREE I might add. But she was in hopes of one of her dream villagers.​

Yeah--hard thing about Merengue is she's really popular so whenever she's missed, people get upset (myself included)

Merengue is probably the closest I've ever felt a "two peas in a pod" kind of thing with which is part of why I've been hoping to get her so bad--just hoping another will show up soon T~T

I personally think you should stick to the first come first serve.
I think just because someone posts about a pet on every page every day doesn't mean they want a villager more than anyone else. I really want Chrissy, but I wouldn't post about it every hour on here because I find it to be clutter.

They move regarding which one you talk first. For example, if I talk with Frank, then with Deena and then with Gloria (story of my life), Frank moves first (july 31st), Deena (august 1st) and then Gloria (august 2nd).

You can convince enough villagers to fill your town. If you have 9 villagers, you just have to convince one to move in your town.
