I've got a second town and I'm doing the time traveling forward 2 days and back 2 days...and no ones offering to move out!
Am I doing something wrong? I've done this trick about 5 times now

the town now has 9 villagers in so is full enough... maybe it's just bad luck but it's really frustrating when I want to give away some villagers

I don't think villagers start to move out until you acquire 9. Just keep trying

I find it doesn't always happen (although people claim that one will definitely move out, that's not actually true). I started doing it with three days instead of two and found that a villager wanting to move out was much more likely that way.
