things you plan on doing differently on the switch

I'm not gonna be in such a rush to complete all my dreamies. Gonna give more villagers a chance. I'm still gonna keep my dreamies for good when they show up in my town but I won't go out and actively search for them this time.

I always played the game to the point where I never really finished with landscaping and so far have started doing so but then never really get around to finishing them before completely restarting my time and I think I've done that a few times. I hope that if I do get the new game for the Switch that I will push through and motivate myself to finish landscaping and work more on my town rather than just start working on it and never getting it done. I see so many beautiful towns and get inspired yet I need to work on mine.

Another thing I would like to do more is probably would like to time travel less and try instead to enjoy the current day so far instead of going forward to another day and or months. Sometimes I miss out things because I time travel alot. I guess that just try and take it easy and one day at time.

I put SO much time into NL when it came out because it was summer break of high school, and I just... don't have that type of time anymore. So I'm gonna try to just take things slowly with my new town! I also might try planning my town out a bit more, as it's something I've never really done before.

It'd kinda hard to tell, considering there will most likely be new features, rules and such.

With my next town, I do plan on themeing it to a theme I've wanted to do forever but never could quite get off the ground- a moon and stars theme. Luminosa kinda combines that now, but I want a full on fairytale/moon storybook theme. I also know I want a haunted house.

For now we'll just have to see what the game looks like and how we can shape the town.

I'd stop being such a stickler for symmetry. It would always upset me if I couldn't design in absolute perfect symmetry, and I think it really hindered the potential of my town. That's the only change I'd make to my play style, though.

I want to decide on a theme very early on in the game instead of throwing a lot of different stuff all together.
I also want it to be more laidback and not rush to get all the furniture I like/ decorate my house.

I wanna actually try to fill up the catalog, museum, get a perfect town and all that good stuff. I always end up getting lazy when it comes to that stuff

I might focus on getting a better town layout, if we can chose how it was such as in New Leaf, I would not agree to have the Town Hall crammed right behind Re-tail and see what towns could leave me with better opportunities for customization. I want to stick to a themed town and I want to get hybrids much earlier into the game.

I definitely want to complete my switch town, or come super close to what I deem complete !
Every other town I?ve had, I only came halfway close to what I wanted then decided I didn?t like the look of it anymore and restarted.
This time I want to stick with an idea I really like ^^

I'm going to finally make my horror town and STICK WITH IT. Every time I try to make one, I get impatient and start over. Although to be fair, I was doing great this last time. It is just that my DS broke and I didn't get it fixed until months later when I lost interest lol.

honestly i don't plan on changing much in terms of my gameplay, i feel like i've been pretty consistent since wild world and i'm enjoying myself haha so why mess up a good thing ;) although it really all depends on what the game is like!

I'm gonna try be less of a perfectionist. I don't want to feel like I can't play it just because my town isn't perfect (eg don't have my dreamies / favourite fruit / don't like the map). I think I'll just play it casually and see how my town develops as I keep playing :)

I'm going to have at least 1 town where i don't mess with the time at all. I think that might allow me to appreciate the game more.

I always went with the same town design, with a bunch of paths.
I put in a lot of work on the towns, and they all pretty much looked the same.

I really want to do a nature town this time with no paths, and mixed flowers everywhere. My issue was decorating my town, then not wanting to move around due to "messing it up"

This time around, I want to be more carefree about my town. ~

I love the idea of a natural town with no paths too. I just hope we have an option of turning off Animal Tracks because I know some people like the feature, but I love running around and don't want to ruin my beautiful grass.

Hopefully they'll make decorating your town less tedious this time around. I feel like so many people are expecting it and have been asking for it over the years that they had to have taken notice and done something about it.

it's hard to say how I would do things since I don't know the game mechanics yet ^^

I’m sure they will, we just got to wait and see

I'll probably try to make another fully themed town (including houses) because currently my town is Fairy Tale themed, and I've always wanted to try kind of an opposite theme if you know what I mean, like one half of the town is yin and the other is yang, something like that (that actually gave me an idea I think I might do yin and yang theme for my AC switch town)

My first play through I'm going to try not to do any sort of time traveling. I'm also planning on playing online a lot more than I used to.
