To you, what are the SCARIEST movies?

The Ring really messed me up when I was younger. I had trouble sleeping and being alone in my house for a few weeks after seeing it.

I haven't watched much horror films since, but nothing's really freaked me out as much. The paranormal activity movies were alright, and gore hasn't ever scared me as much as it just makes me mildly uncomfortable.

It's typically just the jumpscares and suspenseful thrillers that really get me.

gore is never a problem but the only things that scare me in movies are jumpscares and monsters under the bed/ in the closet. im still scared of the dark so once i shut all my lights off i run into my bed and pull the covers over me

The ones with Nicolas Cage in them.

i forgot that people actually find horror movies scary um

maybe ive just been too scarred by horror films, but i absolutely love them. i adore the saw films (even the saw ride @ thorpe park is superbly well done for my horror tastes) and i love gore, things normal people find scary like snakes and ghosts. except spiders bc everyone should hate those

if i had to say something from a horror movie that does scare me though is zombies because im delusional and they give me nightmares about the apocalyse actually starting.

I don't normally get nightmares of anything horror just before bed, even after watching Fatal Attraction. I only have nightmares if it contains spiders. I have a deep arachniphobia and I was agreeing with Ron in the Chamber of Secrets when he said, "Follow the spiders? Why can't we follow the butterflies?"

Other than that, I am fine with watching any movie.

Short horror films that are usually on Youtube. An example is Bedfellows. Ugh.

Anything to do with ghosts or demons. Gore? No problem! Ghosts? Noooooo

Oh yes! Horror movies <3 I thought the "Uninvited" was a little bit scary, it had a good story line and suspense to it.. But anything similar to "The Saw" Series-the torturing and epic disfigurement gets me fidgety
