Random ice cream fact: the blue one is what most people here will be familiar with, but here in Europe you'll find the yellow ones, they were what I had too many of in my childhood. Representation in media is important, clearly both colours were needed so that everyone can have relatable collectibles.

When I see popsicles like that in a grocery store, they intentionally designed them like that to fit 4th of July or the US.

It’s interesting that a few developed nations have red, white, and blue as the colors of their flags. US, UK, Netherlands, France, Russia, Chile, Australia. The American flag isn’t even the only flag in America to have red, white, and blue with a white star.
