i would recommend white since we only need 1 or 2 more to even out the black! then we can add as much cyan as we want after 🥰
Yeah that’s what I thought too!

I LOVE the idea of adding some green dye for the sea colour, I think it’ll make the colour more interesting.
This would be very pretty.

There seems to have been more emphasis on the colour than the item, so I'd suggest that you all focus your efforts there because at this rate it is very easy for just two users to make a decision together and then swoop in and completely decide what the item will be without other peoples' input! Remember these do not combine, so it's the item with the most support than wins!

In addition to what is already in the cauldron—crystal, worn spellbook, wisp's tears, crow feather, mermaid scale—items from users who haven't used both their cards yet include:
  • Crow beak
  • Wasp nest
  • Dove feather
  • Ragged cape
  • Lollipop
  • Dead branch
  • Celeste's ragged bow
  • Snail shell
  • Witch hat
  • Monster's claw
  • Chipped tombstone
  • Ectoplasm
  • Eerie star
  • Spider
  • Frog venom
  • Jack's overripe pumpkin
  • Dragon scale
  • Nook's ragged bell bag
  • Antique clock
  • Wilted flower
  • Mysterious scroll
  • Sleeping powder

Eerie star... 👀

I like the sound of dove feather, snail shell, and wilted flower with the light blue shade personally.

If yellow/green were to be added then mermaid/dragon scale would be super pretty.

If we only add a hint of green say only one or two dyes worth it will still appear very different from the Swamp Potion in my opinion. I’ll just give the blue a slight sea feel while still being blue and not green. Here’s the current colour with just one and two dyes worth of green added:

These shades are lovely!

The green addition looks beautiful. Here's what it looks like with a touch of yellow too:

It's fun experimenting with different colors! 😁

For items, one of the scales, wilted flower, or even the spellbook would look nice. I like the crow feather, but dove feather might pop more on the blue/green direction whether the potion ends up being a darker or lighter variant. Eerie star sounds mysterious! 👀

edit: also tested dumping a bunch of black and white

I like both of these, but especially the latter. Honestly would love to see a black/grey/navy blue/dark purple over a light colour. It would feel more Halloween-y!

White skull potion for the win. Bright colors are so overrated here in monochrome country.

Love the white. Even a super light/blue-tinged grey would be amazing if pure white wasn't achievable.

Actually, turns out the blue could quite easily be neutralised with 1-2 red dyes when combined with certain amounts of white and black if a more monochromatic route was preferred. 🤔
