Maybe it's a stupid question, I dont know, lol. But, after they shut down the E-shop on the Nintendo DS, what are the options for buying games? Only buying the actual games on the nintendo game cards? Or can you buy games online (GOG or something) and put on a SD card/SD-to-NGC type thing? For unmodded DS I mean, hehe.
I just realized I know very little about these things on the DS, and I wish I had more games, hah :(

Second hand DS game cards that are not bootlegs are probably best for an actual Nintendo console.

I'm afraid the only way to legitimately buy games for the 3DS after the shutdown is to get cartridges IIRC.

You can try putting ROMs of games in an SD card and install them with an application, but that would require a modded 3DS.

Can confirm as above user has said. Only modded consoles can play downloaded games post eshop shutdown. Physical copies are your only legitimate way left sadly and prices have gone crazy on most games at this point.
