What Are You Happy About Today?

- Successfully attended my interview and got some good feedback. Basically if I don't get the job it'll be more down to having a long notice period than anything else Happy I got it over with!

- Had chilli cheese fries for dinner and a chocolate cherry cream muffin from my fav supermarket bakery.

- It's actually been quite warm today!

- Getting enthusiastic about travelling again after being a bit burnt out after my longer trip last month.

I had to take another driving permit test today. My teacher didn't want expiration to cause issues with our scheduled dates. So he told me to just get a new card.

I passed it with only one question missed. Which was great because now everything can proceed like normal.

Today has been pretty good though just a couple things at the moment to write about.

I started my second island journal last night and I’m really happy how it looks so far . I’m so impatient to play more of both my second island and Persona 5 Royal. I want to have a better image in my opening post but I need to progress more on my island and have more screenshots. At the same time, I’m so burnt out and low energy that I’m okay just brainstorming stuff right now lol.

I’m working on my creature drawing right now on my tablet and it’s kinda turning out the way I want it to, though I think it’d look better in some ways if I drew it traditionally. I’m have a lot of trouble with the tools and my stylus is terrible for drawing. I might be able to finish it today though I am low energy and am tired (still stressed even though I think things are okay now for some of the stuff that has been on my mind). I’m still having fun though and I am happy that I could try some more digital drawing out .

I’m received some comments on my unreal estate and also about Spanky being in the banner; it really made me happy . I love designing in AC so much.

I got some snuggles from my kitties today .

The fried rice and egg rolls from the chinese restaurant are so good. I wish my dad got the ones without the shrimp in them (egg rolls), but the shrimp are so small that I couldn’t taste them.

I got Spanky snuggling by my feet on my bed right now, keeping them nice and toasty and Jewels is sleeping in Spanky’s pineapple bed (it’s funny that she never went in the bed until just a week or so ago ).

It's Friday!!!

My work week ended on a great note. Helped troubleshoot issues with experiments that have been running inadequately for years, been asked to help fix another next week that doesn't work well as result, and I had the time to sit down and plan out all of next week day-by-day.

Also, there was an incident at work this week. I won't go into details, but the head of the service (my boss's boss's boss) came to apologise to me personally this afternoon and made no defence for what happened. That improved my week massively and really cemented for me that I am working for a great employer.

Tonight was date night.
We went to the cinema to see The Substance. I'd absolutely recommend it to body horror fans, although I've some gripes with how the third act was handled.

Also, hi, my furry sons are still adorable. They've been in very cuddly moods the past two nights. ️

This might sound cheesy but I'm happy cuz I love my boyfriend so much lol I just feel so incredibly blessed to have him, he is my best friend in the world and I just adore him. He's so good to me, he's my soulmate. I'm just feeling so grateful every day.

I've been having a little bit of a rough past week, but I'm feeling a bit better. I'm happy about the fact I'm gonna be able to visit my dad and my brother over the weekend.

Today was fantastic! I was productive at work and got out early, don't have to go back until Tuesday of next week. Afterwards I took care of some things and got a haircut, and then celebrated my dad's birthday by having dinner with him. Now I'm just chilling and watching the World Series game one before I inevitably have to go to sleep early for my big day tomorrow.

☾ I carved and painted my pumpkin for Pumpkin Pageantry!! also happy because that’s one more Halloween decoration we have up now

☾ We saw some of the neighborhood kitties on our walk today, and my cat Boo was in a sweet mood today too—she kept grabbing me to make me pet her ahahaha ;w;

☾ I saw some official art of one of my comfort characters that I hadn’t seen before!! ;v;

☾ My parents and I watched some Youtube videos this evening during dinner, and took a little break from the various Wild Life POVs to see SmallishBeans’ new Hermitcraft episode!

☾ And I was able to finish and submit my entry for this year’s Creature Feature event!! idk how I randomly got the “Hairy” adjective again lol, but my prompt felt a bit sillier this time and I had fun with it! secretarybird in a Sadako wig...

My dad and I went to the store and got some things including snacks, food for upcoming meals, and toiletries we also went to Ace Hardware where he chose out a new grill. Then I had Wendy's for dinner after coming back home. ^-^

I was going to save up my crystals in Last Cloudia, but I caved yesterday and today. Yestetday I got the UR ark (I usually have atrocious luck getting URs; these are the hardest to get arks) and today I got the new character . I’m not caught up to the story so no clue who he is but he seems really interesting .

This game seriously has the best art; I’m waiting for them to release an art book, I love it so much.

His VA, Kishi Taniyama, sounded familiar, so I looked him up on imdb and his VA also voiced Jean Kirstein from Attack on Titan . The Japanese voice overs are incredible for this game.

After writing an email to a friend, my headache went away, and I feel more confident in what I plan to do today~

Actually had a pretty nice time at work today! It wasn't that stressful, I didn't have to close, all my coworkers were in good mood too, and I got a lift there and back so saved on bus fare

It's nice to spend a Saturday evening at home, usually I work in the evenings! Currently relaxing with a coffee

Managed to get the last chocolate and cherry cream muffin, i thought they'd all been eaten but I did sneakily hide one last night

I’ve been feeling crabby and tired all day but today still was pretty good!

I had a lot of fun playing Among Us tonight; really needed the laughs.

My mom found a mason jar so tomorrow I should be able to do my scavenger hunt entry .

I think I’m happy with what I’ve done with my tattoo design so far. I was a little ambitious and went with my more challenging idea. I am going to try shading it and maybe adding one more thing to the picture and shade it and then I should be done.

I’m really happy writing in new island journal and with my ideas for it. I hope I can finish this one and my second island eventually .
