What Are You Happy About Today?

My mood isn’t very good now but I feel like it is picking up a little now 🙂.

I think I’m happy again with the exterior that I’m doing for the unreal estate; I say again because last night I was starting to question and doubt my designs. I had a lot of fun designing it, regardless of how I felt about it, so I have to be sure to just think of that to keep myself from getting discouraged again from decorating activities since these are my favorite type of event activities. I want to think this is much better than my entry in 2020 (I think that was the one I designed the exterior of my house to look like the Muggy Kingdom in One Piece).

While trying to remember something about mystery islands to answer one thread, I found some funny screenshots that I took in 2021 that made me laugh (post #4,016). It was when I found a tarantula island; I believe it was the only time I found one.

My mom made tuna for tuna fish sandwiches today; I felt like eating tuna fish sandwich since the other night when @KittenNoir gave me a tour of her island. We were talking about what fish we still needed and one of my last two was a tuna lol. Neither of my kitties were interested in the little bit I offered them (I made sure there were no onions left); Spanky tried a nibble and then she left to eat her hard food lol. I love my girls 🥰.

There was a change of plans today so I didn’t go to repair shop today; tomorrow we might go. I felt like crap when I woke up so I’m happy with the small delay.

I was really happy that @Xara’s kitty, Bonk got picked for the first round of Banner Beasts 🥳. I’m hoping to see more pets in the banner even if not Spanky :D; I love everyone’s pets ☺.

I took a long nice bath; usually I take short baths but took a long one today. It helped me destress a tiny bit.

☾ I worked on Lostglade again today! I think I’ve got my beaches almost entirely done now (just gotta wait on one more item from Nook Shopping) and have been adding other little details here and there while I wait for more RNG-heavy stuff like remaining villager photos/flower breeding/etc.

☾ Also bought a couple of really cute character designs and had fun researching names for them!! ;v; With everything that’s been going on lately I think the little bit of retail therapy was good for me ahaha

☾ Watched SmallishBeans’ first Wild Life episode with my parents this evening, and we got to see a few other shorter videos as well!

☾ I completed the second round of Spooky Scary Scavenging!! I’m glad we had something handy for all three things and I was able to finish it early, because idk how much time I'd have for scavenging over the next couple days hhhhh ;u;
 
I found that my old switch lite isn’t dead yet, so I can drop off all my items on my main island and delete my accounts from it before it finally does dies. I’m in the process of doing that now 🙂. It probably is at the end of its life though. Thanks so much @Seastar! Now I have no need to go to the repair shop.

I’m feeling better than I was earlier 🙂.

I was really happy to get another shop order and one from a friend :D.

I caught Spanky sleeping on a pile of blankets downstairs and when I left, I caught Jewels sulking up by the stairs 😅😹😹.
 
I had a pretty good day today. I played more Endless Ocean: Luminous and this time I found my favorite creature: a goblin shark! It was so cool getting to swim alongside it in the deep, dark ocean, virtually of course. I also found a rare variant of the goblin shark that was so creepy looking. I loved it!

My husband still makes me so happy. He told me today that my face lit up the first time I saw him after the procedure and it made him feel so good. That's so cute! 💕

He's also taking such good care of everything while I'm recovering, including my dog. It hasn't been easy because Tanuki is very attached to me, but he's getting better about going on walks without me. He only resists a little bit now. I could probably start accompanying them just out into the yard, but I think this is a good chance for the two of them to bond more so I'm not going to interfere.

I logged in to see beautiful Miss Bonk in the banner! Seeing any of your lovely animals always makes me smile, so I hope to see more of them throughout the event!
 
The next Flipline game has been officially announced - Papa's Pizzeria Deluxe ^_^
Me and a considerable portion of people in the Flipline fandom were pretty much convinced that we were going to get Papa's Burgeria Deluxe next (considering it is the only gameria that doesn't have a variant with holidays and has gone the longest without a remake). But I am stoked all the same ^_^

I have also been working on some fanfiction for the aforementioned Papa Louie universe. I am really excited about the chapter I am currently working on. I will be bring in a comfort character/my current fictional other from another video game (yay, crossovers ^,^) - I am only in the beginning stages of the chapter, but I am enjoying writing it so far and intrigued about how it will go. ^_^
 
Today I'm happy because I took a walk outside. It was my first time being outdoors since I came home on Friday and it felt great. The temperature was warm and comfortable, the sky was blue, the fall leaves were stunning. A few people had Halloween decorations out. I was hoping to see some of the neighborhood animals, but all I saw was one sleeping cat and a few squirrels.

That's ok, though. I only made it the length of one block and then had to turn back. When I can make it farther and manage the hills, I should see more of the usual faces.

Small things that made me happy today:

Today is my girls’ third gotcha day! 🥳 Hard to believe that I had them for three years now. I still have to pick them out some goodies even though it’ll be late. For now, I’ll give them some extra treaties. I love my babies so much 🥰.

I found another nearly busted radio in my recycling bin 🙂.

I got some snuggles from Spanky earlier ☺️.

Earlier I made a template for my second island’s journal that I think I’m happy with. I’m still excited about it.

☾ I finished re-reading volume 21 of Kimi ni Todoke, and got through most of volume 22 as well!

☾ My parents and I watched GoodTimesWithScar’s first Wild Life episode this evening, and afterwards my mom and I caught up with some more of Markiplier’s recent videos!

☾ I played through the Phantom in the Fairgrounds text adventure, and got my guesses in for Count Inside the Bottle and the current House of Nightmares round! Some things we had planned for tomorrow and over the weekend have also probably been pushed back, so hopefully that’ll give me some more time to catch up on the new events! ;u;
 
Happy today because I was productive at work and had a good time. Polished up my newest team in Zenless Zone Zero and I'm excited to play the Honkai: Star Rail update. Tonight was also my last martial arts class before my testing, and I thought my techniques looked pretty good. I also baked for the first time ever and thought I did a pretty decent job at it. Hope everyone had a good day.
 
- My dad got Golden Chick for me and my brother. 🤤
- Played a lot of Stardew Valley. I have it on both PC and console, but I think I prefer playing it on the latter. 🎮
- Suggested google questions can be so funny. I literally got one that said "What happens if you turn your children into doves?" 😂 😂 😂
 
- Got a job interview tomorrow so we'll see how that goes 😅 It's the same hours as my current job, just spread out throughout the week, and slightly better pay (not by much at all though). But mostly was looking to get out of the food / customer service industry so it suits for that. If I do get offered it but it has less annual leave / holidays / benefits as my current job i would have to decline tho 🤷‍♀️

- Only doing a short closing shift today, so that's fine.

- It's actually been really nice and sunny recently, pretty autumn weather 🥰

- Sorting out Halloween plans with my friend. We are stuck between if we wanna watch Hocus Pocus or Nightmare on Elm Street. Also thinking we should do a joint costume slay as angel and devil 😇:devilish:
 
@Dunquixote your kitties are so adorable! Happy gotcha day to them! My Mustachio turns 3 too right around this time. I got her the week before Thanksgiving 3 years ago and she was a tiny little kitten then. So I assume she was born around October at some point :)

Today is just starting for me but I have a few things that I’m happy about:

I finally got a villager that I wanted for my second island 🥳; I was trying to get Frobert again but I got Drift! He’s another of my favorite frogs and one I’ve been interested in for so long. He probably won’t be permanent but I wanted to still start with a villager that I liked 🙂.

I got started working on a collage for my island journal; it’s just something to make table of contents page look nicer 🙂.

I had a lot of fun last night with the phantom in the fairgrounds. :D It reminded me of how much fun I had with the 2021 event too. I also remember now that that was what inspired part of my design for Jack’s vacation home. I was just recently trying to remember what had inspired it when I visited it recently. I knew it was a tbt event and activity but I forgot what one.

I’m still feeling drained but I’m feeling much better than I’ve been lately. It helped that last night ended on a good note 🙂.

I’m really happy that I got to trade with @KittenNoir again and chatted with her a bit. :D I’m finishing up my unreal estate entry right now.

I’m so happy I have such good friends here; I’m seriously grateful for their patience.

I think my mom is making lasagna tonight :D.
