What Are You Happy About Today?

Actually had a pretty nice time at work today! It wasn't that stressful, I didn't have to close, all my coworkers were in good mood too, and I got a lift there and back so saved on bus fare

It's nice to spend a Saturday evening at home, usually I work in the evenings! Currently relaxing with a coffee

Managed to get the last chocolate and cherry cream muffin, i thought they'd all been eaten but I did sneakily hide one last night

I’ve been feeling crabby and tired all day but today still was pretty good!

I had a lot of fun playing Among Us tonight; really needed the laughs.

My mom found a mason jar so tomorrow I should be able to do my scavenger hunt entry .

I think I’m happy with what I’ve done with my tattoo design so far. I was a little ambitious and went with my more challenging idea. I am going to try shading it and maybe adding one more thing to the picture and shade it and then I should be done.

I’m really happy writing in new island journal and with my ideas for it. I hope I can finish this one and my second island eventually .

☾ I saw an episode of Hunter x Hunter with my parents this morning, and we got to watch a little bit of Youtube later on too!

☾ Also was able to attend the Unreal Estate dream address stream, which was super fun!! I loved seeing everyone’s islands and I feel like I learned so many things about ACNH that I didn’t know before!

☾ I’ve been working on my Tales of Terror story since last night! I’ve been struggling with this one a little bit for some reason, but I’ve made some good progress and I’m hoping I might be able to finish it tomorrow!

☾ And I got to play in the Among Us session tonight!! It was a blast (although I had the shaky hands bad tonight lol) and I’m really happy I made the time to play! ;w; I think I needed it ahahah

Finally got some pumpkins, attended a pumpkin drop, and then a Halloween event!

I got to wear my Halloween costume for the first time, to my theatre class for some Halloween shenanigans. I'm dressing up as Daphne (from Greek mythology, not Scooby-Doo, I'm incapable of being ginger). I've also been sick for the last few days, but I'm much better now!

I went for another walk outside this afternoon. I made it a full block this time, including going uphill. We saw some cats and squirrels while we were out.

I had a baked potato with cheese for dinner and it was really good.

I've been enjoying the slow life, hanging out with my husband and my dog, sleeping late. I still have a month to go. I'm afraid I'm not going to want to go back to work when the time comes.

- I went for a walk today to the grocery store and admired the cool autumn weather FINALLY, the temperature dropped over the past few weeks cuz I'm so over the depressingly hot summer weather.
- Worked on a few sketches like my creature entry. I plan on doing digital art, even though my stylus can be a bit unreliable.
- Completed some assignments for uni.
- Luna is currently sitting on my lap. Here's a cute pic I took of her sticking her tongue out while sleeping.

- Finally filmed my stuff for the gif I wanted to make
- Made a list of stuff to get done, not in a proper order, but better than forgetting something
- Did some more diamond painting, it's one I got for my mum for Christmas, and been trying to do each time she's not around.
- Plan to get the creature feature done today, if not tomorrow.
- Plan to finish a moodboard for my course, and do a lil digital drawing for it or sketches before the class on Tuesday.
- And plan to edit or write more of my cursed story acivity

☾ The Dodgers are leading the World Series 2-0. My coworkers are rooting for the Yankees, most likely just to mess with me since they aren’t even fans of that team. I’m open about my love for the Kings and the Dodgers, especially the former.
☾ I'm happy about my vacation coming up in less than ten days. It's going to be great!
☾ I managed to capture this adorable moment on video. Excuse my friend and I giggling in the background. I can't mute it because we need the audio for the cats. The black and white cat won, by far.

☾ I came in third place in Nougat’s lineup design giveaway!! ;w; I received some tbt from her and Oblivia (which my ABD sorely needed after the mushroom event lol) and also picked out a Purple Candy from Jhine’s shop!! Slowly but surely I am becoming a candy collector…

☾ My parents and I watched an episode of Haikyu this morning and it was so good omg. Just one more episode left in season 2!! Can’t believe how quickly it’s flown by aaaa

☾ I finished my short story for Tales of Terror! Tom was one of my favorite villagers in New Leaf so I wanted to include him somehow, and it was fun thinking of what he might be getting up to on some faraway island ahaha

☾ Got to watch LDShadowLady’s new Wild Life episode over dinner this evening!

☾ And I had fun playing hide and seek in Among Us tonight!! My death glitched VillageDweller out of bounds and it was super funny as;jfklsdjg

My mom made pancakes for me tonight .

I got to play more of my second island today; I paid off the deserted island package in Nook Miles, got my first house upgrade ordered and I picked a spot for Blathers’ tent too.

I turned in my scavenger hunt items, put in a guess for mirrors (i think my guess is wrong), I just have the story writing activity to do if I can get enough energy to do it.

Right now I’m working on a collage for my island journal ; I’m really happy how it looks so far.

I had a nice chat with @-Blue- @S.J. and @Yanrima~ today . I was feeling a bit crabby a bit ago but I feel better after talking to Yanrima . Always nice to chat with her.

The boo reacts that I’ve been getting during this event have cheered me up a bit too! @-Blue- gifted me a boo idol and Doo gifted me a wisp spirit piece; thanks both of you!

my sibling is painting my room for me and they're over half way!! only got the area where the lights are followed by the the second coat left to do and then my room renovations will be complete.. and then i can find some stuff for the walls !

had some really good victoria sponge cake for lunch. i forgot that i liked it after trying it for the first time a little over a week ago

additionally the merch store for touchstarved starts general access next week, will be looking casually at everything they've got

Tomorrow I am going to my final like "scary halloween event" and i'm pretty excited to go. I'm really pleased with the amount of Halloween-themed activities I did this year. I'll probably cut back on one event next year depending on how things go or whats announced but my goal for next year (I have started saving!) is to go to Florida for Halloween Horror Nights and possibly Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party! We will see if I can make that plan happen though.
