I had a decently productive last day off work. I woke-up at 5:30am full of beans. By 6:45am I had already started work on cleaning my 280 litre axolotl tank.

I made 16 burritos to freeze, did a deep clean of the downstairs, caught up on obligations for two of my volunteer roles (in addition to my work on TBT I lead a team of 33 people in another setting), then got some relaxing time in with my boys.

☾ Watched a lot of Youtube over the past couple of days! Caught up with some recent Markiplier videos with my mom, saw a bunch of shorts on my own, and also caught a couple more of LDShadowLady’s Empires S1 series with both of my parents!

☾ I felt up to playing Pokémon Omega Ruby for a bit this evening, and made it up to the Fortree City Gym! My cat Rat slept in my lap pretty much the whole time too ;w;

☾ Also I’m still super happy about the automatic toy we got for the kitties recently!! It’s been super difficult to get our older kitty, Boo, to play hardly at all for the past few years, and when she does play it’s usually just for like… a few seconds tops, but she loves the butterfly!! She goes absolutely wild over it!! It's been absolute ages since I've seen her so playful.

Goodness gracious, this took me a lot of time to type all of this out! Last week has been pretty eventful, but a really good one. I'm sad that it's over, but I'm very happy that I got to spend time with @xSuperMario64x (Bug) and made lots of good memories together during his visit here to Canada. I may have missed out on the majority of the Valentine's event, but being with someone in person who I love so dearly is much more important to me.

• My Amorous Aura backdrop got updated with pan flag colours!
• We went to Jollibee and ate spaghetti, chicken sandwich, and fries! We haven't had them in quite a long while, so we took our time savouring the food and enjoying our time together.
• We went to a huge aquarium that had lots of interesting fish. I'm sure @/Xara would love to hear this as we saw a couple of real axolotls!

There was also an axolotl plushie that gave me galaxolotl vibes from the 2023 Space Camp TBT event. Sadly, there were no space whales to be found as I'm sure @/S.J. would absolutely love that!

• Feel free to skip this point. Good news! While we were on the highway to go somewhere, I finally spotted a Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) for the first time ever which makes it car #256 in my identified cars list! Bug basically saw me get hyped up seeing a car I recognize lol. It zoomed right past us, so I only got to see what it looked like from the rear.
• I cooked Beefsteak and had fresh raw red onions on the side so Bug and I had something to eat for lunch. I'm glad to hear he really liked it since I've been sharing a little bit more of my culture with him.
  
• We watched some episodes of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3! We also ate Pandesal with Nutella at the same time hehehe.
• We looked around in the mall for quite some time and also took pictures. Bug ended up buying a scarf that says 'Canada' on it hehehe.
• We went to Swiss Chalet for dinner to eat chicken and some poutine!

• We didn't do much on this day, but we got to chill and watched the Super Mario Bros. Movie again almost a couple of years after its initial release in theatres!
• I cooked spaghetti and Bug tried it for lunch. He liked it!
• We got to see each other's drawings for a bit. Not only that, but the numerous layers that were used to bring the drawings together. I personally find it fascinating seeing the different stages and details broken down.

Sadly, the poor weather conditions made it a bit dangerous to go somewhere, so we've had to spend some time apart from each other for this day. There are a handful of things to be happy about, though.

• I played a bit of Gran Turismo 7 and tackled the weekly online time trials. It took me a lot more attempts than anticipated to try and get gold!
• My mother brought home some pizza for lunch! We also had some fries that I heated up in the air fryer.
• I completed my SWEET HEART lineup! I already mentioned it when I made my final submission, but I'd like to thank @/OswinOswald, @/.: Meri :., @/nightglow, @/Dunquixote, @/skarmoury, @/themysterybidder, @/lasagne_of_death, and @/MrBox for their kindness.

• Feel free to skip this absolutely MASSIVE point. This day marked the start of the Canadian International Auto Show! Ever since the dates were announced last year, Bug and I were waiting for a long time for this day to arrive! We attended and ended up spotting fewer unique cars compared to last year, but I'd argue that the kinds of cars we saw this year definitely made up for it. There were a couple of them that almost made me shed a tear. In fact, those who have played Mario Kart 8 may recognize one car on here. I'll put all of them in a spoiler for those who are curious enough to see. Be warned: there will be a huge pile of photos! TL;DR: I witnessed seven unique cars to add to my list bumping up the all-time count to #263!

If you saw my previous post, this is the car that I've shown as a sneak peek. I genuinely gasped as I didn't expect to see the IONIQ 5 N so soon! It's more amusing by the fact that it was added to Gran Turismo 7 literally last month AND that there's an online time trial featuring this car at the time of writing, so the timing was great. One thing I should mention is that it has the option to use fake engine sounds and simulated gear shifts since this car is an EV.

Spoiler: Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST205)!!!!!

This Celica for me is the car that gave me the most amount of happiness in the auto show as it was totally unexpected and located at the corner, making it easy for many people to miss out! Bug and I were taking a good look at it for quite a while. Eventually, a guy who owns this Celica came up to us and opened the door to let us sit in the driver seat! I was surprised at first as I didn't want to mess anything up, but the guy assured us that it was okay to look around and take a few pictures. After all, he drives the Celica from time to time. I then went on to chat with him further about other stuff and how his search in finally acquiring one after 15 years was quite interesting. As for the livery you see here? I pointed out that the flow of lines look similar like the Castrol livery of its rally variant and the guy proceeded to fist bump me for catching that subtle detail (and apparently, I was one of the three people so far who noticed that lol). What an awesome guy to talk to. Not enough words can describe how happy I am to see this legend!

Spoiler: Lexus LFA!!!

It's yet another car that I gasped upon seeing it. It's actually the Nürburgring edition of the LFA and while it doesn't exist in the game, there are custom parts to replicate it! Oh, did I mention that it's one of the best sounding cars ever? It's too bad that they won't start it up for a bit since the auto show takes place indoors. Yes, I'm aware that the one I have in the game is pink and I'm not ashamed to drive it lol.

Spoiler: 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen!!

Yes, you read that year right. And yes, it only has three wheels lol. It's actually a replica, but the Patent-Motorwagen is regarded as the first ever automobile in history, forever changing the way we travel to places. This car is almost 140 years old at the time of making this post! Bug and I both like to call it the park bench lol.

Believe it or not, the Patent-Motorwagen made it's one and only appearance in Gran Turismo 4 that can be driven in the game! However, it only tops out at just under 20 km/h and struggles to climb even the slightest of elevation changes due to having only 0.75 horsepower.

• My mother and sister got to meet Bug again after almost a year! We all went to Ikea and looked at some furniture for quite a while. Of course, the highlight for me was that we got to eat lunch there which tasted delicious as per usual lol. I ate Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, green peas, lingonberry jam, and fries!
• My mother bought us Taho!
• We went to the library and did some traditional drawing together. I drew his two anthro OCs Lumew and Solmew.

February 16, 2025
This day is quite bittersweet as this would be the final day I got to see Bug again before he went back home the next day. We made the most of it, thankfully.

• We went to a mall to look around for a little while. We eventually went to Popeyes and ate fries, chicken sandwich, fried pickles, and biscuits!
• Brought Leche Flan that my mother made for Bug and I. The flavour is a success!
• We watched a couple of episodes from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.
• We both did some drawing for a little while. I managed to finish mine even though it wasn't as great considering I haven't been doing it traditionally in quite a long time.
• Bug made me a ton of Buckeyes! I always look forward to eating them as they never disappoint me! Even my sister really liked them hehehe.

• I managed to play a session of Among Us with lots of TBTers! It was hide and seek mode and it felt so intense every time when the imposter quickly found their victims to slay one after the other.

And that wraps up the huge post mostly talking about the time I spent with Bug. It's a bit funny to me because around this time back in 2023, I started developing feelings towards him, but initially pushed it away before finally embracing it a few months later. After his third time of visiting me in person, I feel my love only grew stronger and stronger towards him. I'm so grateful to have Bug in my life.

I'll recap the other days some other time. I won't be surprised if I look back at this after I post and find an error lol.

messed up my (already messed up) sleep sched during the weekend that i eventually... fixed my sleep sched? i used to sleep at 2 AM, then last Saturday my boyfriend had a marathon and i helped him prepare. i ended up really tired afterwards and it actually made me sleep early in the night. been keeping a good sleep sched from 10 PM to 6 AM since then lol, and it helped me a lot with my review since I could now more consistently study between 7 AM to 7 PM.

speaking of review, since i kinda fixed my sleep sched, i've clocked in 9.5 hrs of lecture yesterday and 9 hrs today feeling really good and really productive, and also i can play for a few hours before bed. bought stardew valley on mobile and ive been loving it so far! i can finally play while lying down c: controls are a little janky and some of the mods are bugged but it's not too terrible for me ^^ i chose meadowlands farm and its been super nice for me so far because i started with 2 cute chickens! ;v;

My day is still starting but I have a few things to post about right now:

I’m happy I slept a little better today; I thought Jewels was finally good but it turns out one of my nieces was here and for some reason she likes shutting my door. Jewels got locked out of my room in the process . I’m also happy my dad had work today; his voice woke me up earlier because he can’t hear.

Last night I took a nap with Jewels snuggling and sleeping under the blankets with me; she was making cute little snoring sounds as she always does lol.

Spanky snuggled with me a little today . Now both my girls are sleeping in my room; Spanky is in her bee tent and Jewels is on my bed .”

I tried Sigewinne a little in Genshin even though she isn’t fully leveled yet and I had a lot of fun using her. I had been under the impression prior to getting her that she wasn’t good at all, but from what I’m reading and seeing, she is good just limited in comparison to other units. I think she is really fun regardless. I have other characters that I’ll be working on more first, but I’m really looking forward to building her too. I think her attacks are cute; I think it is funny she throws a big giant pill capsule lol. All her voice lines are adorable too. I’m really glad I got her .

- my cat Finnick got a check up at the vet and he's doing really good. He's a senior kitty and he takes thyroid meds so he's gotta get checked every 3 months

- me and my mom went to her card making group today and they were going through all the cupboards of supplies (like card stock paper and stickers) and told us to take what we wanted. We ended up with some new card based, some thick paper and stickers. The stickers are rainy day themed and super cute

Happy today because I got up early and was productive for work, and despite it being cold again the sun came out today. Only a couple more weeks to go until spring, my favorite season, is back. I've also been having a lot of fun with the Wuthering Waves fishing event. I'm REALLY close to 100%'ing it, and it's honestly been super therapeutic as an event. I played with my kitty for a bit as well and she's always fun to play with. Martial arts class for tonight was cancelled, so I may do some strength training at home instead. Hope everyone's been having a good week so far!

My federal tax refund came in tonight and I ordered a bunch of painting supplies and I had a good therapy session today, and I found out my regular therapist is back (she was out for like 6 weeks) she's back and I can start seeing her again in March. I was seeing one of the back up therapists temporarily until she came back

I'm really enjoying painting with water colors!

Anyway, yeah doing well!

-My father came home from the hospital today, glad he's back but he's just hurting bad from the fall yesterday. At least he gets to rest now.
-Got to help out by taking my mother to do some grocery shopping. We also stopped by an arts & crafts store on our way and I got myself new sketch books/marker pads so here's hoping these are a lot better than the crappy ones from amazon!
-My brother came over with his dogs so I got to say hi to them. Then my other brother came over and showed us his NEW dog. He's 9 week old collie with beautiful, tri-color fur. He's also very friendly and playful!
-Finished my day-off playing some Smash.
-I have off again tomorrow =D

Today was mostly uneventful, but I heard my partner got their chest binder today and I'm so proud of them! <3

Also, my new glasses are ready to be picked up! I dropped and scratched my old one on accident months ago and I remember how shocked and anxious I felt. ;w; Actually, I have to go get them tomorrow because my mom is tired and she works at night, but I can't wait because I picked the frames and UV lenses (or whatever you call them) in my favorite color: purple!
