What Are You Happy About Today?

☾ There wasn't a new One Piece episode this week, so instead we all watched a couple more episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Fairy Tail! We're almost at the end of the Fairy Tail Zero storyline too.
☾ I took some tbt out of my savings to buy a few flowers from the Shop today!
☾ Finished @/Roxxy's art request!
☾ I helped my mom make some pancakes for lunch! It's been ages since we've had them and I've been craving some recently. There's a bit of batter left over too, so tomorrow's breakfast should be covered as well.
☾ Got a little more organizing done on my embroidery floss!
☾ Saw Grian's latest Hermitcraft video this evening, and it was a lot of fun! It's great to see Mumbo back on the server, even if we don't generally keep up with his episodes.
☾ And I played Rune Factory 5 for a while and got first place in the Buddy Battle contest!! Wasn't expecting that at all since I've barely done anything with monster taming thus far, but I'm certainly not complaining. Made it through the typhoon okay too—lost a couple good crops, but nothing I can't replace, and most of the stuff I was worried about survived. Also I didn't feel like reloading ahaha

♡ I got to play The Binding of Isaac today!! Last time I played was back during the summer, so I definitely missed the game. It's one of my favorite games of all time, so I'm happy to play again!

♡ Bought a couple candy collectibles on TBT from some users, so I'm at 11/15 now!

♡ Watched some more South Park! I'm still on season 16, but there's only two more episodes for me to watch till the next season. ^^

♡ Played AC:NH today! I did a DIY trade with a user and went to a few Nook Miles islands to collect materials. I also got some bamboo to craft a pan flute!

♡ My parents made chicken curry for dinner and it was delicious!

♡ Worked on another sketch, I can't wait to start the final version!

Today I'm happy because:

- I stayed up late last night playing Lonesome Village and had a lot of fun.
- I got to sleep in this morning so I still feel rested.
- The weather was sunny and reasonably warm.
- I watched the latest episodes of To Your Eternity, My Hero Academia, and the 1 hour special of Attack on Titan.
- I played some Tetris and some more Lonesome Village. I'm really getting invested in Lonesome Village now.
- I got two loads of towels washed, folded, and put away and my dryer didn't give out on me.
- I had a really nice shower.
- I'm getting ready to go read my book before bed.

☾ I got to make up for the progress I lost in Minecraft, and even found a few more diamonds than I did last time around! Also got a good amount of work done on my railway to the stronghold.
☾ Played Rune Factory 5 again today as well! Cleared the Meline Crystal Caverns: Depths and got to enjoy the Seaside Lights Festival afterwards.
☾ My parents and I caught up with LDShadowLady's newest Empires SMP video!
☾ Got some more of my embroidery floss organized!

I've finally finished a fanfic I have been working on! It's a 2 chapter 10k one but I'm still thrilled! I haven't finished anything since 2021.

My husband does not have anything wrong with his eyes! We still need to take him to the neurologist to check for what his head pain could be from but at least his vision is okay. We're getting him new glasses too! So I'm just... thankful his health isn't any more compromised than it already is.

I got this new linen button-up shirt that looks really, really good layered under my dresses. I haven't felt like I've looked good in anything lately, so it made me feel really cute. My husband said I look cute in it too, so that was a bonus (even if he tells me that all the time anyway).

Today felt like a really productive day. My spouse happened to find a good price for a couple of galvanized bottomless troughs we can use as raised beds. They only had two left and are just tall enough to where my dogs can't pee in them. So far they seem uninterested in the metal though. These were way cheaper than I could find online. So we got those set up with sticks and leaves for now. I got a discount on blue oyster mushroom spawn that I ordered today. Many places are already selling out of them I saw today so I feel lucky. It will be a while before they come in... like 3 weeks.. but I am happy I was able to get them. We already have the straw and 2 buckets for them that my spouse picked up today. Since we ended up getting the raised beds after all (which happened so fast and unexpectedly) I have to decide what I am going to grow in them later after we get compost in the next couple of weeks that someone offered us.
In the long run, this will help with the food bill... and if there are shortages like there were in 2020, we'll have stuff at home this time.

♡ Decided to change everything back to my cute, pink and pretty theme, as that's just what I like nowadays. Also, it's been my favorite thing since I was a little girl, but now I can make it work even more since I have some more freedom to choose my stuff being an adult. Plus, my Pokémon Violet character looks cute now too. ^o^

♡ Making some great progress with my Pokédex on my Violet game. I'm about halfway through.

♡ I collected all the March AC:NH character icons and are almost done with getting them all. I think I got about three more months to do now and it will be complete.

Today I'm happy because:

- After not sleeping well on Sunday night, I slept better last night and didn't feel so tired all day.
- My dog has been extra playful and loving in the morning when I wake up for work. He's also been laying with me more in general.
- It's been sunny and not too cold over the past few days.
- I watched some squirrels in the backyard while I worked today.
- I completed my most important work tasks and logged off on time.
- I took a really long, relaxing shower this evening.
- I get to leave work early for a massage therapy appointment tomorrow.
- My new glasses are ready so I can pick them up on my way home. Fingers crossed they look good and I get used to them quickly.
- The presents I bought for my husband should be delivered tomorrow.

☾ Saw some really nice fanart of a few of my comfort characters!! Even found one of a character who doesn't seem to get a lot of fanart, so that was especially cool. ;v;
☾ Started working on my next art request!
☾ Also made a couple of rubber band bracelets to get the next batch started!
☾ My family and I watched SmallishBeans' first episode of Limited Life!
☾ Grabbed the new ACNH NSO icon elements! I've collected all of the villagers, so I'm glad to see they're adding in other characters now too.
☾ I made a ton of story progress in RF5, and now Radea has arrived in town! Treated myself to a few new outfits afterwards too.
☾ I am finally through putting all my loose embroidery floss skeins onto those square bobbins. All that's left to do now is to sort them all by color, and I'll be through with this little project of mine!

- Earned my fourth and fifth gym badges in my Pokemon White Nuzlocke, and my team is almost fully evolved now.

- Work has been going well this week and I've been getting a lot done.

- @Foreverfox The Dallas Mavericks beat the Utah Jazz tonight 120-116 thanks to the combined efforts of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving!!!

I’m aging myself here, but I’m happy because my husband and I get to see Bruce Springsteen tomorrow!! He’s always been one of my favorite artists, AND we share a birthday!! (Different years though) I really hope he plays my favorite song!

I spoke to my aunt about what happened with my doctors appointment and she told to forget about that doctor and just find a specialist. If there is one person that understands me so well and respects me is my aunt. I love her so much. She knows how to cheer me up.

- I had a very good massage therapy session. I really needed it because I had to skip last week.
- I picked up my new glasses. It's taking a bit to get used to them, but I'm already pretty happy with how much better I can see.
- My dog cuddled with me on the couch this evening.
- My husband was very sweet to me.
- I had a nice shower.
