☾ I somehow managed to complete all the new Town Initiatives today!! WHEW. Huge thanks to JellyLu, xlisapisa, and Newbiemayor for all the help ;w;

☾ Also got the last items I wanted from my New Leaf wishlist, did some decorating, and visited a few dream addresses!!

☾ My family and I watched SolidarityGaming’s first episode of Minecraft SOS!

☾ I got a Green Heart Balloon from the gacha tonight!! Very happy with anything that isn’t a dupe, shop color, or both ahaha ;v;

Been quite a while since I’ve posted, but for today:

- I managed to get through multiple lectures! I’m still going to have to work hard the rest of the weekend and Monday to catch up, but I’m making progress!

- Went swimming in the evening with my family, and watched most of a movie together

-Although I haven’t had the time and energy to participate in it all, I’m so grateful and happy for the nl event! It’s so nostalgic yet bittersweet, but everything feels so thought out and made with such love for the game

- I got a sweet heart balloon today! Very happy with it

- It’s been lovely reading everyone’s happies sorry for all the notif spamming, but I’ll continue tomorrow since it’s getting late.

- Ended my night with a call with my partner. It was so genuinely nice to just have a chat for hours about random stuff, laughing together they mean so much to me and make me so happy, I’ll always be grateful to have such an amazing person in my life

• I slept really good, definitely needed it!
• I got a year premium subscription to the journaling app Day One, it's really good and has a lot of cool features!
• Been listening to a lot of the band Polyphia lately, they're amazing, especially the lead guitarist. Their music has been inspiring me to practice my violin and ukulele a lot more everyday. My favorite song by them is probably Ego Death feat. Steve Vai.
• In general I feel very good, super inspired with my art and music lately, so I'm spending more time on those things
• I signed up to go to an event at my library tomorrow, it's a hobbit hole wreath making event for fans of the Hobbit/ Lord of the Rings. So I'm super excited. They provide all materials for free and snacks and drinks. Should be a fun time
• Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day!
• My bf randomly bought me a drill set and screw extractor set to have around for whatever I may need it for so that's really nice as I'm getting more into doing DIY type stuff Should be here next week

I’m happy I got a lot done today! Cut back 4/7 decorative grass bushes to prepare them for growing this year, checked my hydrangea soil pH - still not acidic enough at 5.5…it needs to be 4.0-5.0, so I’ll add more acidifier tomorrow and check again in two weeks. Managed to squeeze some work in today, which was good since there weren’t many projects available whenever I checked today. Nicholas is doing well with his spinal stim and bless his heart, I told him we were going to go downstairs and he said, “Okay mommy, I want to walk on my feet.” He can’t, but we will hope.

yesterday: my friend and I celebrated my belated birthday at an Italian fine dining restaurant that I've been wanting to visit for awhile, and it was her treat. it was great to catch up, and we had the most amazing meal!! it's likely one of the top meals i've had in my life. and she gifted me a board game and a wallet.

today: the weather felt like spring - it was warm and sunny. a work buddy of mine and I met up for coffee. we're remote and live in different cities, so it was great to see each other in-person for the first time and get to know each other better! also, I hit up a bookstore that I've been wanting to visit; bought some hotcakes from my go-to place; and grabbed lunch with my brother.

sasha and the lord of the rings trilogy (my ivy plants) have started to grow some new shoots!! also played some more omori earlier and read + listened to some more of garth marenghi's incarcerat.

Today was a great day off . The weather was fantastic. We took Aurora to a St. Patrick’s Festival since I have to work tomorrow. We had a lot of fun. Aurora played with a few dogs.

- I got to sleep in today and played a BUNCH of Honkai: Star Rail. Worked on building Pela in preparation for the release of Acheron.

- I fed my kitties their special food and let my favorite into my room.

- The Dallas STARS just defeated the LA Kings 4-1!! Staying on pace for winning the NHL Central Division. Not too many games left before the playoffs now!

Family came together and pitched in to celebrate my mothes's birthday today. It was actually really enjoyable. My mom also really loved the gift I gave her.

☾ Watched another episode of Hunter x Hunter this morning with my family! I’m really enjoying the Greed Island arc so far.

☾ I played through Day 7 in Cozy Grove! I was actually able to finish Billweather’s quest this time lol, caught my first couple flies, met Darla O’Hare (there is actually pastel green hair in this game YES), and one of my birds grew up!

☾ I watched Dollightful’s new Sketch With Me video!! I’m also happy to see I’m not the only one who sketches in pencil first and then correct the issues with it in an art program later lol

☾ Also did some sketching of my own! I’m working on designing a character and I’m happy with how it’s turning out!!

☾ I?? Somehow came in 1st place in the second New Leaf trivia session??? I’m still kind of in disbelief tbh, and probably will be until the 1st-3rd place points/prizes are sent out asjdfklgd

☾ And after the trivia ended my parents and I watched Grian’s new Hermitcraft episode over dinner!!

im happy because ive really enjoyed the new leaf event and its the most ive ever participated in an event here, and because i got some collectables i really wanted and my lineup is nice now ^_^
