☆ We had two of our friends over to play a couple of rounds of the board game Pandemic.
☆ One of them gifted me a Highland cow rubber duck! We had seen it in a gift shop window the week before, but it was 9 PM so the shop was closed. I'm so touched that she went back to get him for me!
Saturday 16th 2024
☆ Our friends had stayed overnight, so we spent a couple of hours the next morning drinking tea and chatting.
☆ My partner and I had lunch with my parents in the afternoon. I had steak with a baked potato and peppercorn sauce.
☆ On the train to the town my parents live in we passed a number of farms. There were Highland cows right up against the fence!
Sunday 17th 2024
☆ I've been in pain since Saturday morning, but today it was bad enough that I struggled to get off the couch without help. My girlfriend has been absolutely wonderful in response. I had to bail on seeing our friends, and she chose to stay home with me over going out. Today she has made me multiple hot water bottles and copious cups of tea, managed my painkillers, went out for gingerale, helped me in and out of the bath, fed the animals, and cooked me dinner. I'm very lucky to have her.
☆ I was sad and wanted to be nice to myself. So I ordered sushi for lunch and bought Pokémon Legends Arceus digitally (so I could begin playing right away). I picked Cyndaquil as my starter.
☆ This evening my partner and I played board games together. We played Pandemic, Hive, and Hanabi.

☾ I was being nosy at the store and noticed the new flavors of Mountain Dew inside the cooler. They aren't displayed yet but they exist. THEY EXIST.
☾ I finished work a little early tonight and decided to rewatch Haikyuu!! I'm halfway through the first season and am enjoying it once again.
☾ The NHL playoffs are starting soon. I'm hoping the Kings can have a more favorable first round matchup by falling to a wild card. The Oilers are not it.
☾ I'm getting paid on Thursday! I mention it now because this will be my biggest paycheck yet for this job. I had a few extra shifts this week and OT the week prior.
☾ I can sleep in tomorrow. It's much needed rest after these long shifts. I also have off on Tuesday, so there's that. I can binge some Haikyuu!! then.

Friday:
One of my mystery Balloons turned into another Sweet Balloon! I'm glad as It’s probably my favorite new Balloon besides the Pink Balloon, and I can't wait to use it for some lineups!
I caught a shiny Dusclops in LA! I wasn't paying attention and then I heard sparkles and saw a red Dusclops lol
Not much happened on Saturday, but today I was able to find 2 shinies in Ultra Sun! I decided I wanted to do some quick Sos hunting before 3ds online closes in April! I found a shiny Pikipek at 159 encounters, and later a shiny Eevee at 160! I'm especially happy about the Eevee as I've been hunting for a shiny Eevee in LA for a while but haven't found any yet!
They also both have 4 perfect IV's, which I thought was cool as well!

I have avoided the local crackheads today. Yesterday's were mostly funny. One lady that used to try to sleep in a parking strip near work and a highway, and yell at the traffic to go away, almost picked a fight with a random guy, when we told her to shut up.

My brother is out of hospital and is feeling better 
- My boyfriend bought me a cordless drill set and also a damaged screw extractor set since I've been getting more into DIY stuff, he just randomly ordered it for me as he know's I've been getting more into this stuff so it was really sweet of him Also I love the color of the drill!
- I bought a tripod to make video chatting easier with my bf especially when we're trying to like play TCG games over video chat together
- I'm doing pretty well, slept good. Have my volunteer shift tomorrow with the rescue kitties

- I had a great time playing ACNL with @Holla today! Even if it was just a brief exchange so she could borrow my beans item in NL, it was a lot of fun. Speaking of which, A HUGE thank you to @Chibi.Hoshi for giving me her extra beans item in the first place! Chibi.Hoshi was SUCH a huge help over the course of the event and I couldn't have done it without her. It was also a lot of fun as well. 
- My right leg is finally almost completely healed! I was finally able to put my right foot completely down and walk normally again after several days. I'm just so happy and I'll make sure not to overdo it on my workouts again.
- I got to play a ton of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail today, and finished the most recent event in Genshin as well as Memory of Chaos in HSR.
- Fed my kitties their special food. They always make me so happy.
- My right leg is finally almost completely healed! I was finally able to put my right foot completely down and walk normally again after several days. I'm just so happy and I'll make sure not to overdo it on my workouts again.

- My mom surprised me with delicious apple pie when I got home from work! It definitely did not disappoint as every single bite I took tasted absolutely amazing!
- Feel free to skip this point. One day, I decided to leave a little earlier than usual to head to college. And it looks like I was rewarded to spot a car in the process on the way there: a Porsche Cayman GT4! Being the 233rd unique identified car my list of all time, I'm really glad to have finally seen it in the wild. It's pretty amusing how the majority of the cars I've added this year so far are European. Only 4 of them aren't compared to 22 lol.
- Some of you guys may have already seen my current profile pic (at the time of making this post at least), but I commissioned @/Snowifer to draw my animal villager OC, Pag-asa holding up a perfect orange! Oh my gosh, he looks so adorable with the colour orange making him pop out even more.
I didn't specifically ask for the additional detail (but was in the reference I provided for her), but it made me happier with the fact that she also added a blue circle to the side of his cheek... Which is supposed to be a blue pawprint from Blue's Clues!

My mom kinda went overboard on the tapioca pearls (the translucent spheres), but that's okay hehehe.
- I've been continuing to enjoy the Farewell to New Leaf event! I also managed to complete more town initiatives including a new batch of them. Of course @/xSuperMario64x helped me out on some of them with a side of bonks to my head with a toy hammer lol.
- Adding on to the event, I finally got around to submitting my score for puzzle league. Regardless of what happens, I'm glad to get a score that I'm truly satisfied with since it's kind of a part of my username hehe. The fruit tiles are still haunting me fsdjkfasjkhg.
- I played Gran Turismo 7 and recreated a car livery recently. While it's actually been finished for a few days, it still makes me happy to drive it around. It's a Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) that I saw at the auto show a few weeks ago! Comparison can be found in the spoiler below. And yes, I'll stop talking about Porsches after this point.
Thankfully, someone already recreated the "GT3 RS" decal, so I didn't have to start from scratch. I did, however, recreate a decal found on the rear wing (though it's a bit hard to see). I feel pretty happy about that too since I basically had to go off from pictures that Bug and I took while we were at the auto show. Plus, I know the saying that graphics aren't everything in a video game, but I'm always amazed how the car models in Gran Turismo 7 look almost 1 to 1 to their real counterparts (though I still see some jagged edges every now and then especially since I play on the PS4 LOL).
Here's one more detail that's found on the roof: A maple leaf that's half red and half white (and yes, I recreated that decal too)! The real thing had it too but was hard to see from level ground. Thankfully, there were a couple of diecast models bearing the same livery!

- Work went fine. Listening to some relaxing music while working on a car helped me get through my shift. One of my coworkers said that it made them feel a little sleepy listening to it. Honestly, I take that as a compliment.
- I listened to a lot of music while relaxing at home!
- Had a yummy spaghetti for dinner.
- Bought a couple of collectibles, more specifically a cyan heart balloon and a mystery heart balloon which later turned out to be a sweet heart balloon!
- College was all right. Managed to get some work done which is always nice getting more load off of my shoulders.
- I started working on my entry for the Mayoral Memories activity.
- Played a bit more of New Leaf to complete a town initiative and talk to my villagers.
- Also got to play Gran Turismo 7 again and whipped out an ambulance van once more after not touching it in weeks lol.
- @/xSuperMario64x gifted me a yellow heart balloon! It brought me a lot of happiness since I got a collectible lineup idea!
Today was a great day off. Was able to sleep in. Had a nice morning walk with Aurora. Went to lunch with my mom and 2 aunts for my Aunts Birthday. It was nice to catch up with great food.
On the way home we picked up a new puppy bed for Aurora her one bed was old she seems to like it.
Had a nice evening playing ACNH. Worked on some nook mile achievements on Serenity. Received Gladys photo on Harmony. Me and Aurora had a nice evening walk.

Happy today because I decided to change back to cute, pink, and pretty aesthetic, which I now have changed everything to the way I like it. It’s also has other things I like, as I realized it’s better to go with what you love rather than just random stuff. I really love my kitty avatar too that I found. ^-^
Also feeling great today because I helped a fellow TBT member get her rainbow balloon lineup last night and totally made her night, which made me feel good! Always glad to help other members out with their collectibles.

☾ I got my New Leaf town prepped for a final dream address update!! I already have it decorated how I want it, so most of that time was just wrapping up the fun useable items and hiding them around my town and stuff, because I’ve always loved when dream addresses include stuff like that. ;v; I may regret this tomorrow morning ahaha, but I’m hoping to stay up a little later before I actually update it so I can get my beloved 1am music playing in the background...!

Not much has happened since last night but a few things are worth mentioning...
☾ I tried the new Mountain Dew Baja Point Break Punch soda I've been looking forward to for the past month. It's amazing. I can't wait to try it in a can.
☾ My local grocery store restocked my favorite burritos after two months of being out. I don't know if there was a shortage or what, but I'm happy either way.
☾ I have the day off tomorrow so I can sleep in. I can watch anime, play some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, relax, and hopefully clean my room a little.

I have a job interview at 7:45am!
I applied for the job at midnight and got an 30 min in person interview for 7:45am as a sales associate in a home improvement type store. I wasn’t expecting to get something so immediately but yay! I’m really hoping I get it and that it works out. So I’m probably not sleeping tonight because it’s 1am now and the interview is at 7:45am plus I have to take the bus there so I’ll have to leave around 6:30. It’s in the same plaza where I volunteer with the rescue cats on Tuesdays so I have that I will have to go to around 10am so I’ll just stay in the area after my interview till it’s time to go in for my volunteer shift at the other place.

- Got the rest of my tools today. A 122 piece precision electronics screwdriver repair kit. Also got a good needle nose pliers which can be useful for many things including crafts and a good pair of scissors.
- I’m feel stressed about this job it’s 2:30pm and I haven’t heard anything yet I’m worried I didn’t get it so I’m trying to take my mind off it by posting on here and watching some anime. Right now I’m watching the devil is a part timer. I’m trying not to worry about it. I don’t have to get this job. It’s not like I wouldn’t be able to support myself without it. But I do want to challenge myself especially with my anxiety and I don’t want it to wreck my self esteem if I don’t get it. So I’m trying to not get too disappointed if I don’t get it.
- My tabletop tripod will be here tomorrow along with my awesome keyboard cover for my laptop. The cover is rainbow. Should look really pretty. I’ll update my post with pics later always fun getting stuff in the mail, especially useful stuff or fun stuff that makes my laptop prettier looking . The next step is to buy a replacement battery for my laptop, take out the old one, install the new one and up the ram to 32gb from 16gb. It was at 12gb and it’s doing amazing at 16gb way better than it was but I want to bump it up to its max and see how it goes. And of course bring the old batteries to appropriate battery disposal centers. Oh and I also am getting a vinyl galaxy themed adhesive cover for my laptop too which also looks really cool
- I’m really excited about the tripod for multiple reasons. It will have so many uses and I can also use it with my Nikon cool pix S3500 and my iPhone since it has mounts for both phone and digital camera. First though I have to get replacement rechargable batteries for the camera though cause the one that’s in there is long dead. It feels great putting new life into some of my older tech

- I worked out at the gym and tried a kettlebell exercise for the first time.
- Played AC: New Horizons and I'm glad that Ava the chicken moved out because she kept on passing around her catchphrase "Cluck yeah" that I gave her to my other villagers. Maybe she can CLUCK OFF, lmao. I hate it when villagers pass around their catchphrases like that.

- Had some tasty French fries and rice for dinner.
- Played AC: New Horizons and convinced Filbert to move to my island after finding him on a mystery tour. Had him in my WW town and he's one of my favorites.
