I went on a villager hunt. I initially had a list of villagers to look out for, but then I found Melba and decided to pick her instead! TYSM for helping me out with the tickets again @ZeldaCrossing64!

I also went to their island and while fishing I caught an arapaima!

That's all I did for today.

• Bought a genuine basic painting from Redd on Harv's Island.
• Did a lot of trades on Nookazon.
• Bought some K.K. songs for my 2nd player.
• Sent a letter to one of my friends (and got one back!).
• Got some purple mums and black tulips - I moved them to the beach.
• Caught lots of bugs and sea creatures.
• Watered my crops.

• Picked up seashells.
• Dug up fossils and gyroids.
• Crafted 5 blue rose wreaths to sell.
• Sold some weeds to Leif and got 17k bells.
• Bought a kitchen island at Nook's.

• Cooked food with my extra wheat/flour and fish.
• Got a pearl from Pascal.
• New catches: Firefly squid, lobster.

Yesterday after I made my last post in this thread, I caught a saddled bichir and donated it to the museum.

Today I woke up to a letter from a kind friend. It was so wholesome that I had to write back and thank them for their message.

Then I went to Melba's house and saw her unpacking. We chatted for a bit.

When I went up to the campsite, I caught sight of the first purple windflower!

I dug this beauty up and replaced another flower that I planted near Melba's house with it.

I also flew to Photopia on Harv's Island to take a bunch of screenshots for use in my new Island Journal thread. (Fun fact: I made one over a year ago, but it's heavily outdated.)

Lastly, I caught a giant snakehead, a piranha, an Arowana, and a gar for the first time! I donated them all to the museum as usual.

Today I found a lost item and returned it to Broffina. I got a dollhouse dress from her as a reward.

Reneigh invited me to her house. I looked around for a bit. We played a game of "high card, low card". My winning strategy didn't work out like it usually would, but I didn't care about the prize she had, so it was okay. Before I left to continue my business, she gave me K.K. Synth. I already have that song, so I put it in storage in case I find out someone else wants it.

I spotted Gullivarrr on the beach and helped him with his missing NookPhone communicator.

I dug up a few gyroids and a bunch of fossils. I sold the fossils I'd been hoarding for 210,300 bells total.

Melba taught me a recipe for cherry jam.

I started work on Buck's vacation home. It had been a while since I designed houses in the DLC, so I hope this one can get me out of my burnout.

Bill gifted me a fast-food cap. He told me Zucker gave it to him, but he already had one.

Not a lot for today, since I didn't feel like playing much. T^T And the first point was for yesterday, shortly after my last post.

• Went to a nook miles island to catch a few certain bugs... But I got impatient and it started to rain, so I grabbed materials (including coconut trees) before leaving.
• New catches: Rosalia batesi beetle, rainbow stag.
• Grew new hybrids; One pink mum, two pink cosmos, three blue roses, and two orange cosmos.
• It was raining again, so I didn't have to water my crops/flowers. :D
• Dug up fossils and gyroids.
• Crafted six blue rose wreaths to sell.
• Picked up seashells.
• Ordered more songs for my 2nd player.
• Requested K.K. Slider to play K.K. Waltz.
• Harvested fruits and wood.
• Went to a Kapp'n island for materials. I went to another as my 2nd player and got a cherry blossom island! It's the first time I've been to one, so that's cool. I also snagged four stacks of petals.

OK so it's not on Westward but today I went to @/Firesquids's island for the hide-and-seek session! I thought I had found the perfect hiding spot... until I realized I totally underestimated @/Mistreil's seeking skillz. XD Celeste was visiting also, and she taught me the tulip wand DIY!

On MY end, nothing much happened...

• I bought a steampunk hat from Elvis for about 900 bells.
• I got new stuff on my bulletin board! And at the perfect time, no less. (anyone who has seen the results of this year's Celebrating Diversity event will know what I mean...) Thank you, @ZeldaCrossing64!
• I'm making progress on Buck's vacation home. I probably won't show it any time soon...for reasons. >_< But it's going pretty well!

It was the first day of July. That meant new creatures were available! I woke up pretty early and caught (heads up; this is a lot) a horned dynastid, a moon jellyfish, a cicada shell, a miyama stag, a scarab beetle, a cyclommatus stag, a grasshopper, a robust cicada, a brown cicada, a walking leaf, a horned atlas, and a blue weevil beetle! I donated them all to the museum. I've been going around with a net in search of bugs for most of the day, and Bill noticed!

I learned the recipes for a purple pansy crown and a vine lamp through message bottles.

I completed the fourth part of "Bugs Don't Bug Me", the third part of "You've Got the Bug", and the "Cicada Memories" achievement!

I did Label's fashion check and got some Labelle tights.

I caught an olive flounder for Reneigh and she rewarded me with a brine-shrimp aquarium.

I popped too many balloons. I got plenty of furniture, clothing, and lots of bells from them.

I went on a boat tour and five mystery island tours to harvest materials. Notably, the first NMT island was a money rock island.

There was a meteor shower, and I ran into Celeste! She gave me a lily wand DIY, which I learned right away.

• Redd was visiting, so I bought a checkout counter and a genuine wistful painting.

July 2nd, 2024

• It's raining, so I don't have to water my crops/flowers.
• Harvested and sold fruits and crops.
• Dug up fossils.
• Got a western-style stone DIY from Mitzi and a recipe for potato potage from Frita.
• Crafted some DIY furniture.
• Bought furniture and clothing from Nook Shopping.
• Harvested wood.
• Went to my daily Kapp'n islands.
• Demolished one of my bridges.
• Crafted two blue rose wreaths to sell.
• Helped out Gulliver.
• Not in-game, I planned out a general design for my island using an online island planner. I will probably start terraforming soon...

Today I learned the recipe for a stacked-wood wall via message bottle.

C.J. was visiting. I sold some fish to him for 78k bells and commissioned a black bass model.

I sold my fossil hoard and my Dream Bell Exchange tickets for 65k bells.

Raymond taught me the recipe for a golden candlestick.

I finished Buck's vacation home! I'm feeling confident enough to post photos, but I'll be sharing them in another thread. This also means that I'm finally out of my HHP burnout! Next, I'll give Bob a vacation home.

I went on a boat tour again for materials. I caught a few mosquitoes because they were pestering me and I didn't want to get bitten. When I was hitting one of the rocks, a gold nugget came out. It's been a while since that happened.

Zucker had me deliver a wrapped bottled ship to Bob, and Bob gave me a digital scale as thanks.

Yesterday after I posted here, I spotted Wisp and gave him his spirit pieces. He gifted me a cool low table. Broffina noticed I had one, so since I didn't need it I sold it to her for 825 bells. Later I built a bridge to make walking around the island easier.

Today I couldn't sleep, so I booted up the game at 1 in the morning to hunt for the rare bugs. I caught and donated a giant stag and a golden stag in the process. At the same time, I cleared out some overgrown flowers in the left part of my island's third level.

For the first time, I got to hear the music that plays at 1 AM and 2 AM. So relaxing. ^_^ They may be my new favorite hourly music in this game.

Later I woke up at around 6:30 and decided to play again.

I redecorated my secret island with some furniture I crafted and ordered from Nook Shopping and Wardell; I wanted it to look more appealing.

I caught and donated my first horned elephant.

I went on yet another boat tour for materials.

I invited Bob to the HHP archipelago with a souvenir chocolate and worked on his vacation home. I managed to finish it. I will share the photos in another thread when I have time.

• Planted the hyacinths I got from Leif.

Yesterday I went to Nook Shopping and "Only Me" was available. I didn't have that song yet so I bought it.

I visited Axel on my campsite.

I caught my first walking stick and giraffe stag. I donated them to the museum.

Redd was visiting. Unfortunately, he didn't have any new art on display. I got impatient and made a trade here to get the remaining art, and I finally completed my art exhibit.

I went on a boat tour for materials. Again. This is starting to become a daily thing and I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with my surplus of wood, stones, clay, and iron nuggets. XD

Reneigh was sick, so I gave her medicine. She thanked me with a flashy hairpin.

I learned the cosmos shower DIY from Broffina.

I assessed some fossils for a Nook Miles+ quest and sold them for 38k bells.

I caught a flea that was clinging to Zucker.

Bob had me deliver a present to Elvis, and Elvis gave me a long-underwear set. Interesting gift...

I began Broffina's vacation home. Her idea is very unconventional, so it'll be fun working with that.

I bought a printed layered shirt from Zucker for 392 bells.

I visited an NMT island to harvest wood.

I know this is what I was supposed to do for "today" but I am going to include the last few days...

Since this is my first July playing, I have caught a ridiculous amount of bugs, some fish including the Giant Trevally, and a bunch of sea creatures for my museum!

I also have been adding lots of bridges and inclines ever since the bug off, because I realized my island wasn't accessible for bug catching. @ZeldaCrossing64 is the only one who truly got to see my island and I think they can agree. It's looking great now!

From that same bug off, I have pulled inspiration from @Mountain_Elements and @Suguri to make my island more colorful with flowers, and pathways!

My island is progressing much faster now that I have had a chance to visit some friends islands!

• It was Apollo's birthday, so I went to his party and gifted him a black waistcoat. Ruby was there, as well.

• Got a DIY for an angled signpost from Moe and got a few beach DIYs.
• Crafted some DIY items.
• Dug up fossils and gyroids.
• Went to my daily Kapp'n island, I collected materials and filled the rest of my inventory with rare critters.
• New catches: Blue weevil beetle, horned atlas, giant stag, scarab beetle, goliath beetle, cyclommatus stag.
• C.J. was visiting, so I sold fish to him for 500k bells. I also commissioned him to make models for the giant trevally and whale shark.

July 5th, 2024

• Got presents in the mail from Mom, Judy, C.J., and Apollo; I got a Mom's plushie, a toilet-cleaning set, a giant trevally model, and a barista uniform. (Haven't checked my 2nd player's mailbox yet.)
• Got a DIY for a grass standee from Mitzi.
• Crafted a few DIY items.
• Went to a Kapp'n island for materials.
• Harvested crops.

You can tell I barely played today.

Been finally terraforming Ataraxia a bit, but also going through some dream addresses for ideas for that specific area.
Moved Julians, Olivia's and the campsite from the back of my island to really focus on the back area first and see what I can do.

I even changed ideas with what I had planned for the campsire, because I wanted to have it near a waterfall and river, but I had thi idea; its hard to explain but it's at the back of the map, on a first ground with other land around it. so it's like a lil cove?
I'm just trying to see what stuff I could put around it and if I need to terraform the area a bit more.
The campsite was moved into its place today and I already got a campsite villager XD It was Ken.

I think what's stopping me properly terraforming and placing items down, is trying to find the right pavement pattern, as I want something thats like old and broken a bit, but also some pavement for woodland areas.

I also thought another player on the island would have its own pattern area, but when I checked my second player, it has the exact same patterns saved as my first person :/

Just started terraforming today and created a spot for the shopping district + moved buildings. Looks empty for now, until I can find stuff to decorate with. Will start planning where my villager's houses will go. Still have no clue what theme I'm going for, it's kinda like an elegent fairycore with dark wooden furniture and bright flowers(White, blue, purple).

I didn't do much today, except have K.K. Slider perform "K.K. March" for me. One of my goals for NH other than finishing my Critterpedia and museum is to complete my collection of K.K. Slider airchecks (without trading with other players, to challenge myself). I don't know how close I am to reaching the goal, but since I have a lot of songs at the moment I'm making plenty of progress. I know my last aircheck after I get everything else will be "Farewell", because it's title is fitting. I won't completely stop playing even after I own all the airchecks, though.

I did relatively little on MY island however I went on three Kappn tours and got a ton of glowing moss, mushrooms, vines, across, woods and stones and such. I'm about to go to Cyrus' and customize some things to finish my park.
