Mostly simple stuff. Removed a lake that’s in the way, moved some fencing around to be easier to navigate, and put down some paths. I also welcomed Lolly today!
finally got around to starting renovations on my island, cleared up a TON of flowers and unnecessary trees etc. I'll see about terraforming soon. never really messed around with it besides my brother. still got lots to do but this is a great start!
Went on for the first time in a while just to check on things. Bought a a piece of art from Redd since he happened to be here today, though I'll need to check when I log on again to see if I needed it or if it'll be trade fodder. Had a campsite villager but it was Deena so that was an easy skip for me fkdfk. Currently I'm trying to replace Raymond and Azalea and I'm open to a few villagers if they happen to come by chance... but no luck so far. Other than that I just checked my shops, talked to whoever I saw around and logged off for the day. :>
I don't post here too often, but I made Nook's Homes in one of the rooms. I made the post office and lost and found station. I have 3 more rooms so I'm thinking maybe doing more buildings from New Leaf.
Around 8:30 PM, I was walking east from the plaza when I saw Raymond staring at a tarantula. I caught it. Second successful tarantula of 2025!
I crafted a mermaid shelf and put it in my bathroom.
Melba was sitting by the river eating a sandwich, and I saw her yawn and fall asleep. Aww.

Oh! Almost forgot. Stalk market profits. Bought turnips on Sunday at 102 or 106 bells per turnip. Put a little over 800K on the line. Sold them today at 135 bells per turnip and made a nice small profit.
I sold today cuz I didn't want to risk it. It was near 135 Monday and Tuesday and fell to 69 on Wednesday. I have a feeling it's gonna drop again. Not worth the risk.
I finished drawing a picnic blanket and put it down in my park. I decided to go 4x4 but with 2 custom designs that I laid down in alternating patterns. Julian asked to come visit. I redid a part of my forested area to include a cave. I'm running out of room so I'm looking for things I can cut down or lose completely. I've grown attached to my builds though so it's such a difficult choice.
Last night, I was walking by Audie’s house. I was tired. A tarantula had spawned right next to her house. I was so tired that it took my brain a second to register the fact that there was a tarantula. Once I did, I successfully caught it. I didn’t even get scared. I was just like, “Huh. Cool. Well, you know the drill. Time to get in my net.”
Got more regular wood. I wonder why it's tougher to get than hardwood and softwood. To prove my point, let's look at my wood collection: Hardwood- 60 Softwood- 56 Wood- 12
I swear, hardwood and softwood are WAY more common than regular wood. Question: Is this just bad luck? Or is regular wood kinda rare for everyone?
Saved a bunch of Zelda custom designs I found online. Shari is also coming over to my house tomorrow. Scheduled visit. I love that sassy little monkey.
Today Redd visited, and he had a new (and real) artwork, a Serene painting. Sigh, I still need quite a few artworks to complete the art exhibition, it really takes years.
