What do you collect?

- Almost forgot notebooks/journals and pens (Most of them I have never even used. I just think they look nice so I buy them.)

i have the original dune 2 and 3 (no 1 tho lmaooo) as well as bladerunner and 1 & 2 of jennika

Yarn. I do knit, but my stash is beyond what I'll use in the foreseeable future.

Books, Funko Pops (my prize is the Maleficent dragon, but my favorite is a custom duo of Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables.), tea.

ahhh yes! do you knit socks? Thats my fav thing to knit! Its so fun! I need to get back into it actually. I havent for a while

I do! I have a weird fondness for turning the heel. Short rows are a kind of magic. :)

Are you a DPN or Magic Loop person? I powder DPNs, but the rest of my Knitting group are Magic Loop all the way.

Omg so many people i talk to are terrified of knitting socks but seriously, once you get past the learning curve, knitting socks is yeah like you said, like a kind of magic. Plus hand knitted socks during the winter are one of my favorite simple pleasures 🥺

youve inspired me to get back into it tbh
 
I recently got into buying funko pops & it's turning into a good size collection. you dont want to know how much money i've spent on them ..
 
Manga, and Nendoroids.
Got a couple hundred manga volumes (somewhere around 300), and about 15 nendoroids, a big chunk of them are also snow Miku.

My friend from work and I collected beanie babies in the 90s. We playfully get made fun of for it. Mine are in tubs in my parents’ shed. I now collect mostly ac amiibo cards.

You should! It's the most wholesome hilarious fun you'll ever lay eyes on, many people myself included dub yotsuba the cure for depression.
I'd recommend getting the manga volumes, it deserves the authentic read lol, and the covers are just plain gorgeous.
 
When I was a kid, I collected stickers. I put them all over my binders, had sheets of paper full, and covered my door with them.

Now I have a collection of plushes, art books, and animal crossing amiibo . I also like to collect natural oddities, like interesting rocks, feathers, shells, bones, things I find during my walks. I try to be careful not to take too much or disrupt anything by taking it.

I forgot, also socks! I have a bunch of long socks with characters and patterns I like~

I used to collect Nendoroid figures. I have like 7 of them but now they're dusty since i stopped collecting them
 
I mainly like to collect/pick up manga, anime figurines, a couple plushies and anime blu rays! Sure you can find any show or movie online for free but I love to just have them on hand ♡ Plus the rare times where the internet is down they are a godsend

A lot of my stuff recently has been from winning prizes on toreba! I have 2 new ones actually arriving soon too ^^

I super love decorating the top of the bookcase with the boxes, it adds such a lovely pop of colour and makes it feel more quirky to me ^^ Eventually I'm gonna be picking up an extra bookcase and maybe? A small glass display cabinet for the figures
 
Moon jewelry. I actually have a necklace with real moon rocks inside with certification and stuff to prove its real. Also moon themed items. It's always been a comfort for me, and my rabbit's name is Moon (I didn't name her, the shelter did.)
 
Too many things 😍 off the top of my head
  • Stickerssss. I've been collecting them on-and-off since my aunt got me a sticker book when I was 7. It filled up years ago so now I keep my stickers in old chocolate or cookie boxes 😋
  • Keychains and fridge magnets (souvenirs from traveling or friends)
  • Coins from countries I visit
  • Snowglobes (stopped this one a few years ago cause its kinda a hassle when moving)
  • manga - recently switched to ebooks though cause space
  • Sumikko gurashi's mini plushies uwu
