False and even fake. The contents of Directs never get leaked so early and the contents seem to be oversized. I mean 24 villagers? I doubt it. And they talk about a "final town upgrade"... what town? We have an island and it seems like the person doesn't even know what NH will be about.
I also don't see a reason for another general Direct this year. Nintendo had their fall Direct already. There might be game specific ones for Pokemon or NH, this year, but I'm not even sure we get more info on NH this year at all.
On a sidenote I'd also like to mention we did not have an Indies presentation yet. In the past there always was some kind of Indies presentation a few weeks before a Direct.
Animal Crossing leaks are always fake - they never let any information out. I also think that date is far too soon for more info since it hasn't even been that long. I also believe it might be next year instead.
Whenever the next Direct happens, we MIGHT get a small trailer, but don't expect a major information drop for a while. Maybe December, but sometime between late January and late February would be far more likely.
This is the first time I've heard of it, but I hope it's true, cause we haven't had any really new information since the release teaser. But 24 villagers is the stupidest thing I've ever heard (^∇^)
It would seem fake. Directs never release 2 months after one has been around, unless its a 1 game focused direct. It is either gotta be Pokemon or Smash.
If a direct we're talking about, its gotta be in either January or February. That's how the Nintendo Direct formula goes I believe.

As everyone else has said, definitely fake. If we're really lucky, we'll more than likely see an Animal Crossing-centric Direct in February, MAYBE January. As for me, I'm actually fine with not hearing anything else. Got a teaser trailer, some gameplay footage, and a release date. I can be a (semi) patient person til then.
At least the faker got the general Direct day right this time. A lot of the time when an alleged leak happens, they just choose a random day of the week and immediately discredit their claim.
