My island is Lunasoleil. Luna is moon and soleil is sun. I was trying to think of a name for my island and I remembered this from a book series called Twitches. I just think it's pretty
My island is named Coral Cay, I wanted something beachy and tropical. Coral Cay stemmed from a New Leaf town I had that was tropical themed. Although it’s been a year of playing and i’m just now getting around to ramping up the tropical vibes lol
I do want a separate island though with a different name and theme but i always bounce back forth on what i want for a second one.
Moonraker-Nautical; first recorded in 1780–90. A moonraker, also known as a moonsail, hope-in-heaven, or hopesail, is a square sail flown immediately above a skysail (see sail-plan) on the royal masts of a square rigged sailing ship. (Wikipedia)
Anura and Bedtime. Anura is okay but I don't love it, honestly I would rather have kept my town name from new leaf which was Dripple, I really like that name. I wanted to do something new but hadn't thought of anything and when the day came I just looked around and found something that meant frog and went with it... Oh well, it's fine.
My second island's name is a bit more fun. I can't say that I think it's super original, cool or funky but it works and has a vibe to it.
My island is called Moon Prism. I’ve had a Sailor Moon theme planned since before launch so I knew I had to have a fitting name. I much appreciated the increased number of characters we can have for a name this time around.
The name comes from Sailor Moon’s very first transformation as she yells “Moon Prism Power Make-Up!”
Macaroon, I know it is spelled Macaron but I think of Macaroni and I don’t like it
Anyways yeah because I work in a bakery and we sell them so they cute.
New Island. Because its a new island and part of my tradition of putting "New" in front of my town's names. When I first played NL, I spend a lot of games coming up with names for my town. Each time, I started over because I was unsatisfied with the name. I was so sick of resetting that I named my final town in NL "New Leaf". I haven't reset at all in NH and I'm very satisfied with my island.
