Splatoon What is your main weapon?

i never got to play splat1 so nothing there but god. It’s disgusting how long i’ve been using the dynamo roller in splat2.... my two mains are dynamo and the kensa splattershot!

I never been played Splatoon 1 but I played Splatoon 2 so my main weapons in Splatoon 2 are Hydra Splatling ,Splattershot Jr and New Squiffer.

If only one, I'll choose Hydra Splatling.

In Splatoon 1, I had 2 mains for turf wars. I was all about the Aerospray RG because I could ink a lot and the ink strike special came in handy at the last second to turn a match around. My other main was the Splash-O-Matic. I liked the suction bomb-bomb rush special for ink coverage reasons haha. For ranked I think I used the luna blaster when playing tower control which is my favorite mode.

For Splatoon 2, my main is the Aerospray MG (notice a theme here haha) because I cover a lot of ink and I really like the curling bomb- bomb rush. Sadly, I don't use the Splash-O-Matic in S2 cause I don't like the sub or special. For ranked I think I use the rapid blaster lol.

In Splatoon 1 I swore by the Octobrush, and generally mained brushes and rollers. Toward the end of Splat 1's lifespan I experimented with chargers a bit, and liked the range.

Going into Splatoon 2, I had to level up to unlock the Octobrush. So in the meantime I used the splat charger. But I also tried out the heavy splatling and LOVED it. I had no idea what I was missing out on in splatoon 1.
Anyway, for a while I basically mained the heavy splatling and jet squelcher, because I liked the range and they didn't require as much commitment as chargers did. At this point though I don't really have a main?
The guns I usually stick with to have a good time are either one of the .96 gals, any heavy splatling, and the octobrush nouveau. I like supporting my teammates and these feel good for that while not sacrificing kill power.

Also can we talk about how fun splash walls are, I love finding annoying places to put them lol

I really want to change it back to a roller/charger since I mained them in Splatoon 1, but I've gotten really bad with them unfortunately.

Oof, it's been years since I played this game, if I remember correctly, I used mainly some kind of Dualies, but I forgot which one. I know I also used for quite a while the weapon you get at the very beginning (sorry, I'm just terrible at remembering the weapon's names).

So I never played Splatoon 1 before so no mains for it.

In Splatoon 2, almost every weapon is my main so I'll pick the four weapons that helped me to reach X in all modes.

1. Sploosh-o-matic - Rainmaker
2. Splattershot Jr. - Tower Control
3. Hero Shot Replica - Splat Zones
4. Octobrush - Clam Blitz

So that's all for my main weapons!

In Splatoon 1 I used a roller (well when I had the game it was just a rental) Even in the first test fire I used a roller. In Splat2 I main the Foil Flingza and sometimes the Kensa roller. I just really like rollers. ( I do have the regular Flingza but I like the Foil's sub and special weapons more.)

In both games I really flip flop and just play with almost every weapon whenever just because its more fun that way but my favorite in both games is definitely the Octoshot. I have been obsessed with Octolings even before they were playable and was so happy to have the weapon and it has a good special! I also really like the Gold Dynamo roller!

In Splatoon 1, I was a dedicated splat roller, but now I’ve switched to the neo splash o’matic. It’s so easy to control, which is really important for me because my aim is terrible, and the burst bombs are a treat, but I do miss hiding in the ink and squishing people ;_;

Splatoon 3 remains to be seen but likely a short range high fire rate weapon as I’m the sneak in close and surprise them type.

Any dualies and any rollers since I love their playstyles the most. But to be more specific it's the Carbon Roller, Dynamo Roller, Dapple Dualies and Splat Dualies.
