If you didn’t know, I like almost all villagers that resemble real-life animals. What do you think of that? Do you like it when characters in AC resemble real-life animals?

You mean villagers with more natural colour schemes like Fauna and Maple? I think they are cute but I much prefer colourful and wacky looking villagers

Some of my favorite villagers resemble their real life counterparts, such as Grizzly. I've loved animals my whole life, so I guess it makes sense that I would also be drawn to villagers that look like the animals I love so much in real life. But I still enjoy the more uniquely styled villagers as well, such as Anicotti.

I love them too! Sometimes I love the villagers with wacky color scheme but I really love it when they look realistic.

the first thing that came to mind for me was Antonio, I really like anteaters irl so I love his design
i think it’s neat! while villagers who don’t resemble their irl animal are super unique, i also like that nintendo included realistic designs and even included mythical + villagers who look like a different species altogether in their designs ;u;

I mean, none of the animals listed actually resemble the animals their based off on level that is less superficial than any other animal, so I'm still not entirely sure what you mean. But I suppose their fur colors and textures are more in line with what you'd expect from an animal, as opposed to being pastel colors. The same way that some human villagers have natural hair colors while others have various shades of red, pink, green, purple, or whatever.
That being said, one of my favorite animals is Molly, and I suppose she fits under this description.

Have you ever compared any of the villagers above with the animal that they look like?I mean, none of the animals listed actually resemble the animals their based off on level that is less superficial than any other animal, so I'm still not entirely sure what you mean. But I suppose their fur colors and textures are more in line with what you'd expect from an animal, as opposed to being pastel colors. The same way that some human villagers have natural hair colors while others have various shades of red, pink, green, purple, or whatever.

And I'm not saying they have do. I'm saying that as it stands, they barely only kind of do, which is why I don't quite fully understand what criteria you are comparing them from. Thus I don't really know what to think about them in relation to the other animals.

We enjoy them, Molly is one of our favorites for that reason, we used to raise ducks and so we were happy to see a duckling villager.

Yes they do. Sandy resembles an ostrich and Gladys resembles a crane too add on.
i really think they are one of the best looking villagers in the game. I mean Julia's feather colors just wow. All except for the few strands of awkward feather on top of the head she would be up there in the AC pageant. Cranston's like bit of red on the beak makes him incredibly attractive. There are just so many little traits that give it such elegance
