If you give them a gift wrapped foreign fruit, that’s two points. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a gift back. If you get a gift back, that’s an extra point. You already get one point just by talking to them each day. You need 150 points to start getting pix, and it maxes out at ~250 points

I had a feeling you did, but didn't want to assume I'm guessing you meant non-NATIVE.

And I'm guessing coconuts count as foreign? I have PLENTY of those, since I usually save 'em all for when Coconut Juice is worth extra!

Ooh, good to know! I'm curious- does the color of the wrapping matter? I like to try and keep it somewhat relevant to the villager... like pink for Merry, or blue for Coach, but I'm wondering if it even matters?

I had Apple and Cranston as my third and fourth villagers and even with daily gifts the refused to cough up their photos. My last straw is when three villagers that moved in after them gave me their photos so I went ahead and cycled them out.

I wanted to get everyone’s photo but at that point I was just getting irritated and wanted new faces so it is what it is.

I’ve had Fauna since early April. Give her wrapped gifts every day. Been on sixth level friendship for over a month. Still no picture! Everyone else on my island has given me their pic a long time ago... Can anyone top nearly three months?

I have played since day one, and have played several times every day. I think I have the max friendship level with most, or maybe all, of my residents. I give them lots of stuff. No one has given me a picture. Maybe I will icrease the amount of wrapped gifts. I have given them all the most expensive bugs and fish but they do not seem impressed by that.

Probably about a month with Vic. My starting villagers were cycled out fast so I never got them.

I always give my villagers wrapped iron wall racks now. Sure it goes through my iron but its effective because they never decorate their houses with them.

I've only got 2 photos so far. I still don't have Dom's, and he was my first villager. I was gifting Audie every day and have had her since launch, and I only just her photo this week.

I've had Biskit as long as Audie, but I've only given him a couple gifts including on his birthday and I got his picture after the 3rd or 4th gift.

I have had Diva since the game was released and I still don't have her picture, or anyone else's picture for that matter. I give my villagers gifts once in a while and I believe I have a high friendship level with them but I am not actively trying to get their picture by giving them wrapped foreign fruit everyday. Hopefully I'll get their pictures eventually!

I've had Audie since days after release (didn't TT or trade, got from a mystery island) and she STILL hasn't given me her picture despite almost daily gifts and talking to her constantly.....

Ursala, who's been my uchi since March 20 (though the game counts it as March 19 lol), only just gave me hers like a week or two ago. Clay, my lazy starter, gave me his a few weeks before that.

Out of all my starters, which I must've gotten like the 21st or 22nd, only Sprinkle and Marina haven't given me theirs yet. I don't mind not getting Marina's, but I do want Sprinkle's and I might be a little annoyed if I end up with Marina's first.

I prefer not to grind for pics because I only really want the pics of the villagers I'm gonna keep. But it's interesting to see how long the RNG holds out on me whenever I do something for Sprinkle.
