What’s the longest you’ve had a villager without getting their picture?

I invited Sterling from a mystery island March 30, 2020. Got his photo on May 24, 2020. That's because I didn't know about the wrapped hanging terrariums or wrapped iron lamps technique. Most villager photos I've gotten in as fast as 3 weeks.

Rory was one of my starting villagers (I started March 26) and I still don't have his picture yet. In fact, the only villager picture I've received so far is from Cherry, who is my other starting villager. I don't gift my villagers all that often though, so it's to be expected.

7/10 of my villagers still haven't given me their photo, lol, and ALL of them have been here since March and April. I never actually gift them anything when I really should, but I guess I'm not pushing for their photo.

Ironically, the villager who gave me their photo second has been here the shortest, from September.

Ankha has been gifted so many wrapped coconuts and yet no photo for several weeks. Maybe someday she'll give me her photo if I were to give her more tasty coconuts.

I've had Drago on my islands 3 times and given him many gifts but still haven't earned his photo. I time travel but the longest time he was on the island was probably 2 months. I gave him around 50 gifts. The RNG just wasn't working for me with Drago. Raymond, on the other hand, hands over photos very easily. I know it's probably random but I've had good luck with him all 3 times he's been on my islands.

For me beau took me longer than fauna. I got poppy’s photo within two weeks. Also alli , Diana and Tammy took a little while to getting their photos. Now working on Marshal, Judy,Molly, cube and Bree

I have been playing since March and have not yet received any picture :') probably because I keep forgetting gifting the villagers, though that is apparently a large part of getting pictures..

Uh... March 20th. Sigh. Yeah, I’m talking about you, Renee, a not so snazzy looking pink rhino who has been gifted a sheep costume, multiple fish, and random furniture from when I first started the game.
She won’t hand over her picture even though we’re at level 5/6 and I’ve been using the full inventory fruit stack trick for almost a month.

The three residents I've had living on the island the longest are Annalisa, Bella, and Tucker, the initial Normal, Peppy, and Lazy residents that I acquired from the Nook Miles Islands in the early game. They've been residents since probably sometime in April of last year. I have never received any of their pictures. Honestly, none of my 10 permanent residents have given me their picture.

The only residents who gave me their pictures were Snake and Ursala, my starting Jock and Sisterly residents, who I kicked out and replaced with permanent residents a long time ago. No real complaints from me though, both because I don't want to do errands for my permanent residents or give them gifts because it would ruin the interior design of their homes and because I don't have a use for the pictures and they'd just take up storage space if I ever got them anyway.

I have all of my starting villagers. Starting playing 20th March. I only have a pic from Antonio that I got a few days ago.

Peirce I've had since the beginning in March and even he hasn't given me his picture. I hate how the friendship in this game is a literal grind.

on my old island I had Tammy as one of my starters, I had the island for 5 months and was gifting her inconsistently, and I never got her picture. it took me less than half that time to get Merengue's, Zucker's and Marshal's though, and I wasn't gifting them everyday either.

Aurora was my first non-starter villager (so she moved in just a few days after launch) and I still haven't seen a picture from her even though I've done a few tasks/games with her... I suspect she could drop it any day now. I hope so, because I want to upgrade her from her starter home!

Same. I might have one or two. I need to check my storage. I do talk to them regularly and also give them stuff from time to time, but their lack of interactivity doesn't really compel me to go the extra mile.

i've definitely had lily for more than 6 months and i still don't have her picture, despite giving her a cherry almost every day i play. same with sherb, think i got him in april or may? and no picture yet

well i guess it would be 324 days as neither frobert or frita (my starter villagers) have given me a picture yet and frita's moved out now so i won't be getting one from her. i started when the game came out.

they both have the highest friendships aside from rolf so idk why they haven't yet.
