Cranky because it's fun becoming closer and better friends with them and breaking down their tough exterior. They're actually pretty sweet to the player honestly and are so friendly to your character. I've always had such a soft spot for them since the gc version because they would always say such funny things to your character. Honestly those cranky villagers are some of the sweetest animals ever. Also tbeir deep voice is cute too especially coming from the little animals like a hamster or squirrel.
I love the snooty villagers. I had to stop myself from accidentally having a whole town of them. I had Timbra, Willow, Baabara, and Francine!! Sadly I had to boot Timbra and Willow out so I can have room for the other personality types u_u
For whatever reason, my favorites have always been Snooty and Cranky villagers. My first ever town in Population Growing the day it came out had Kitty from the start and since she was a cat I loved her so much. Then Pecan moved into the same Acre and they became my Gossip buddies in my head since they lived right next to my player's house.
Camofrog was there from the start too. And Wart Jr. was in my town for a time and I hated him but when he moved out he left a letter that made me feel bad for hating him so much. xD So cranky villagers kinda became a favorite too at that point.
I like normal for the usual kindness, though I like lazy as well. The peppy or smug or the ones that are rude or judge kinda bother me. Unless it?s a villager I really like, I can deal with them
Uchi and Smug are my top two favorite personality types. I love how charming the smug type can be and how big sisterly and supportive the Uchi types are. I'm happy they made Marshal a smug type because whenever we talk it's so cute, he's so small, and it's funny when he talks.
I like how the normal ones act the most, and I also think the cutest villagers come out that personality type too. I'm also a little bit biased because Nan was in every single one of my games and I always had a great bond with her. One of my favorite memories as a kid is seeing her on Wild World after she moved in and seeing her hair swirl, mistaking it for a crescent moon and thinking 'a Capricorn!'. No idea why crescent moon = Capricorn but go off I guess.
