What's your favourite Nintendo franchise?

Outside of liking Animal Crossing, I would say Pokemon and Splatoon.

i would say pokemon is my favorite. although i have a bit of a hate and love relationship with it sometimes. i do enjoy most pokemon games i just wish it wasn't so cash grabby at times. then it would be fire emblem and then animal crossing.

I definitely feel the love hate relationship with pokemon... I feel like the mainline games sometimes are quite a bit boring and really wish they would explore more of the side games *cough* mystery dungeon but most of the times, I like it!

Didn't even have to think about it, by far Pokemon! Grew up watching my sister play gen 1 on her Gameboy color, with her little light attachment. Played consistently since gen 3. I'll admit I might have to give it a nostalgia run for the earlier gens since I was kinda young and not even knowing what the story was about lol but the pokemon aspect I absolutely love

I would say Smash is a close first as well, just that I never play that game alone and only ever with friends (and barely at that, now)

I’m sure this answer won’t surprise anyone but easily Splatoon. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had playing a game and getting to do it online with friends which I don’t get to do in most games has been an awesome experience since Splatoon 1. My favourite part is definitely playing Salmon Run together as we are all trying to work together to complete a common goal.

Runner up would be Pokemon as it was what got me into gaming in the first place. I still love it even the newer games with their issues but the magic I remember feeling when playing the older games just isn’t there anymore for me. Plus I was never really into the multiplayer part of Pokemon so it’s almost been purely a solo experience for me, which is fine but playing with friends is really nice as someone who often felt lonely growing up.

Zelda has been my favorite since the NES days.... I still remember being home sick from school playing A Link to the Past for hours on end.

Splatoon and Kirby are definitely my favorite Nintendo franchises. Two game series with interesting lore and setting along with the art style that clicks with me the most.
