window seats all day! If i have my pick of seats i usually pay extra for a better seat class.
I could never do a middle seat that seems extremely disgusting to me.
I will say i have a blast on a certain night flight i take regularly that has very few passengers and every time i’ve taken that flight i’ve had the whole row to myself!
On public transport I love the window seat I like to look out while I listen to music to relax.
I hate the aisle sit as others are always hitting you with their bags as they walk past especially if its a busy time.
It depends on how long the flight is. If its over large bodies of water I'd rather have a middle or aisle seat. If its over land or a short distance I generally prefer the window seat.
i prefer the aisle seat on a train, though the window seat on a plane. 'cause you can look at the funky coloured lights and lights together in general from up high (if its a night take off or arrival), the clouds, and generally looking downwards on everything beloww no chance im looking downwards out of a window in a plane if we're going over water though. heccers
though i also don't mind the aisle seat plane-wise but you gotta get up for fellow peoples which sort of isn't too much of a hassle but you know
i’ve never been on a plane, but on public transport i always choose a window seat if i can. i love seeing the world go by. i bet i’ll also love the window seat on planes as well.
No preference. I’ve only been on an airplane for two trips. One when I was 6 and one this past summer.
When I was 6, my Mom gave me the window seat. I remember being thrilled to see the ocean. This time around I was stuck in the middle isle going and coming back. It was night time so I couldn’t see anything.
Window by far, view aside (which I do enjoy), I like having the wall next to me to lean against. Planes are way too cramped and I'm the type of person who can't sit in the same position for very long, so being able to shift between sitting upright and leaning against the window slightly helps with that, doesn't help with actually getting sleep but it's something. u_u Trying to shuffle through sleeping people is terrible though so if it's a short (1-2 hour) flight I'd probably shoot for the aisle. But regardless, if I'm on a plane I'm just going to be miserable every minute I'm stuck on it so there is no winner option.
Long bus/train rides I'd also prefer the window for the view.
I have a strong bladder so I rarely go to the bathroom on airplanes/buses. Even 13 hours flights (probably not the best for my health but I don't drink much on the flight itself and try to go before boarding).
I like being able to snuggle up against the window if needed.
I am also a window person! I like to look out when we are taking off, flying, and landing. It's peaceful in my opinion, so long as I forget that we're miles above the ground haha. I once was flying through the clouds and when I looked out, it looked like a white sea. It felt like I was dreaming!
I voted for aisle. More leg room since I'm pretty tall. Looking out the window on an airplane can definitely make me feel sick sometimes. Besides it's more convenient for several other reasons too.
Window, definitely. I like to look out and control when it's opened/closed, plus being able to look off without anyone else being in my line of sight helps me relax. Ideally, I wouldn't have to use the restroom.
I just rode a plane this summer for the first time in nearly two decades. Needless to say, I was mesmerized by being that high up in the sky and wanted to see it, so window aisle! Though, I only got a window seat on the flight back. I took several pictures. Lol.
Don't really have a preference . Most times I am driving myself. I live in a really rural place where there's much public transportation. So if you want to get somewhere, you have to drive yourself. Or pay for uber or a cab if it's willing to drive out that far. I've only flown twice, four times if you count the back and forth.
The first time I flew was during an intense thunderstorm and we had to fly through it. I didn't really know what to expect so I was pretty chill about it, but a lot of people were panicking and some were crying. I didn't have an experience to go by, so I wasn't sure if this was normal or not. It wasn't though lol.
I did get the window seat and it was nice. The other time all I saw was the wing so it was alright I guess? I got to see the wing flipping out as we went through the storm lol.
i bet i’ll also love the window seat on planes as well.
