Who are your favorite Horse & Eagle villagers - and Why?

For the Horses, Reneigh. Her mane is very elegant. Savannah is pretty cool, too.

For Eagles, Apollo. He just looks like a classic Bald Eagle, which I appreciate.

I don't really like any of the horses much besides Julian (bc he's an actual unicorn which is p cool) but one of my fave eagles is Avery! I know people prefer Apollo and Avery's just another cranky eagle but he was in my very first New Leaf town and I really grew to love him along with the rest of my starters. He has a rly fond place in my heart.

Well I currently have Reneigh on my island (not my choice) but I do like her, and her house exterior and interior is really pretty, overall though I'm not a fan of the horses and eagles in ACNH.

I'm not a big fan of those species, especially Eagles, it's not the species in itself but more that I'm not fond of the Eagle villagers in terms of design.

• For the Horses I really like two of them : Roscoe and Papi. Preference for Roscoe !

I think Julian, Savannah, Reneigh and Colton are cool too.​

• Concerning Eagle... It's between Amelia and Apollo, but I would say Apollo because he's a classic.

Sterling is interesting if you have a medieval theme island.​

My favourite horse is Reneigh. I love that she has piercings and I like her colour scheme and makeup.

For eagles, my favourite is Sterling. He looks awesome with his armour!

I don't really like either of those species. Eagles are weird to me, I can't even explain why, and horses are 'meh' at best. I'm not a horse girl IRL and in the game, I think their snouts and tails are weird. That being said, there are still some villagers within the horse species that I think are done incredibly well:

• Colton - love, love, love the idea of the white fairy tale steed!
• Roscoe - his colouring and face expressions are amazing
• Reneigh - also very nice colouring and how parts of her mane are shaved
• Julian has an intersting design and I appreciate that they went with a blue boy unicorn instead of the more obvious pink or white girl

Out of the horses my favorites are Julian, Annalise, and Victoria. I also have a soft spot for Winnie - the star on her forehead is cute.

For the eagles, I think my favorite is Celia. Not really a fan of the species, but she has really nice coloring.

I think Papi, Savannah and Julian are all really nice designs but Clyde and Elmer look like the lazy dialogue about bugs would be perfect for them. Buck looks fun too

I love Keaton and Frank.

My favorite horse villager is Roscoe, but I really don’t like how he has the singing hobby. If the cranky’s singing voice was different, maybe I’d like his hobby better, but unfortunately it annoyed me how much he sings and the sound of his singing voice, so i let him move. My second favorite horse is Cleo, though I am unsure how much I like her yet since I haven’t had her yet. I don’t like the horse villager designs that much except for Roscoe and maybe Cleo.

I don’t have any favorite eagle villagers yet since I still don’t like their designs very much. Some have peaked my interest a little and are growing on me.

Papi. I really love okapis and find them interesting.
Avery. He is interesting.

Horses: Roscoe (he’s like an older biker dude) and Reneigh(love her shaved hair and piercings)
Eagles: Keaton(my first campsite villager)

I do like Julian and Savannah as well.

My favourite horse is Victoria mainly for nostalgic reasons. She was one of my first villagers back in WW. Plus I love her design.

My favourite eagle is Sterling. He’s just so cool looking and interesting. I’m in love with his design.

Apollo is my favorite eagle. We've had lots of good times together over the different years and games. He's my birthday twin too

For horses, Peaches is my favorite. I know there are a lot of people who prefer naturally colored villagers, but I just love her color scheme and eyes. I had her for a long time in NH and would definitely have her again someday.

Peaches is my favorite horse. She has been living in my gamecube town for about 9 years.

For eagles I really love Buzz who also lives in my gamecube town lol

I like most of the horse villagers, but especially Papi because he's based on an okapi which is one of my favorite animals. I also love his catchphrase.
I don't like any of the eagles that much.

My favorite Eagle villager is Sterling because I'm fond of knight aesthetics in general and so I appreciate both he and Knox. There are a lot of other Eagles that I like too though, particularly Amelia, Apollo, Buzz, Celia, and Keaton. Birds are my favorite types of creatures in real life, so yeah.

As for Horses, it's tough to pick a favorite because, again, I like a few of them, but at the moment I'd say my inclination leans toward Savannah because of her unique zebra design. Also particularly fond of Annalise, Cleo (since I had her in the GameCube game, and technically still do since she never moved out as of the last time I played a few years ago), Julian, Papi, Reneigh, Roscoe, and Victoria.

Both are pretty solid villager species as far as I'm concerned. A lot of good choices.

I love julian becuase hes a unicorn. I really wish they would make another 1. Hes great but I'd love it if there was more.

Favourite horse is Ed. I'm not sure why. I think it's nostalgia from the GCN AC game, where he was one of my first villagers.
Favourite eagle is Sterling. I have him living in a fort-like setting along with Knox right now on my island, and the setup is pretty rad. I even have crest doorplates for them with the corresponding colours (blue and white for Sterling, red and white for Knox).

My favourite eagle and horse villagers are Apollo and Julian, respectively. Apollo is my favourite eagle because of his simple bald eagle design. Julian is pretty popular but he's my favourite because of his unicorn inspiration and how well his blue colour goes with his constellation/ethereal theme.

The horses are so underrated! I love the horses, they are one of my favorite species second only to I think cats. (I love horses IRL though so I may be biased haha). It's so funny you say Ed because he's my favorite horse too!!! I had him on the GC game and loved him to death. I fell for the Julian craze with NL, and amidst campsite resetting (for hours) for him I accidentally skipped too far ahead, and the empty plot filled up with Ed! Who I had completely forgotten about until then. It felt super funny since he's also a blue smug horse haha. So I grew super attached to him and ever since then he's been on all of my towns and islands lol. Runner-ups have to be either Cleo, Annalise, Elmer or Buck for similar sentimental reasons. I also LOVE Julian of course haha.

For eagles, I'll be mainstream and very American haha and say Apollo!!! I love that his birthday is July 4. His appearance in the movie only makes him more nostalgic. I also really appreciate Buzz, as well as Frank.
