Who are your favorite Horse & Eagle villagers - and Why?

my favourite horse villager definitely has to be cleo, and this quote from her pretty much sums up how that came to be lol. 
i’ve always liked cleo, but she was never a villager that i was particularly interested in — until i ran into her while island hopping back in march. i’m not sure why, but i just couldn’t imagine not inviting her... so i did. she wasn’t on my island for very long, but she’s genuinely such an adorable and sweet gal who deserves way more love! she isn’t a villager that i ever expected to love as much as i do, but i’m really glad that i gave her a chance. <3
i also really like papi and julian as well! and as for eagles, while i haven’t had any of them on my island yet, my favourites are celia and frank! quinn definitely looks interesting as well, and i’d love to have her on my island one day!

Papi is a cutie and Apollo is just so cool. I used to not like Julian in NL so I didn’t want him again now but I restarted my island and he’s my first campsite villager so I was forced to take him in and now he’s quite growing on me….
I like many horse villagers, but my favourite is Winnie (peppy), I think she's underrated due to her design.
As for eagles, my favourite is Sterling (jock), I had him on my town in previous games and he was one of the first villagers I befriended.

I grew onto Buck when I had him on NL. He was just a random move in and I didn't care for him at first. So I invited him back to my NH island when I got access to the amiibo functionality. I don't know, he just kind of reminds me of one of the Bob's Burgers characters and it's funny that he is a jock and the character in the show is also into sports a lot.

Nah but seriously, it is Apollo, without a doubt. He's my all-time fave villager anyway, and I just love him. <3 For horses, I would say Elmer. He has a nice design and he's a lazy, I have him in my New Leaf town! (Though the idea of his name being Elmer is a tad bit morbid, since glue is made from horse bones, and Elmer's is a company that mainly makes glue.)

My favourite Islander of all time is Ed
I have had him since day 1 in my town in New Leaf. And we have been besties ever since. We share similar bdays (his is a few days after mine) so we are both always at each other’s bday parties and giving each other presents !!!!
Ed also used to write me little love letters haha and poems and would tell me about his dreams he had the night before
So when I got New Horizons I knew I needed to get Ed on my island which I do have his house is near mine

I don't really care for the eagles all that much. But I will say I really like Amelia. She was a starter of mine in New Leaf and I thought she was great. I didn't end up keeping her in my town for long though.
For horses, number one goes to Papi. I love him so much. Close second is Julian. He used to be number one in this category, but Papi took over after I had him on my island for a while.
Honourable mentions will go to Cleo, Winnie and Roscoe :3

For the eagles it's Sterling, hands down. I absolutely love him. I'm probably biased though because medieval-styled characters are my faves.
For the horses, it's a tie between Roscoe, Julian and Savannah. I've still got Savannah on my NL island, and I've currently got Julian on my NH island. Roscoe has stayed for a while. If he's in the next AC game, I might even consider keeping him as one of my permanent villagers next time.

Eagles:
Eagles are quite underrated in my opinion, but w/ New Horizons they've grown to be my 2nd favorite species, only w/ deer being my absolute favorite species. Currently Buzz is my pick since I'm going for an all brown/tan/cognac villager line-up, but Amelia's the eagle that made me fall in love w/ the species.
Honorable mentions: Avery (one of the coolest designs with that pattern), Quinn (the sisterly personality really shines on how I perceive eagles to be, plus she's the best designed villager of all new villagers in my opinion), Apollo (iconic, old school AC),

Most likely Reneigh since her design makes her look like a awesome sisterly(my opinion) she makes the uchi dialog sound better because I think her design fits with the personality more(I've only had Reneigh, Diva and Canberra for Sisterlys and the latter two don't really give off the vibe...) her house is pretty and suits her, her catchphrase "Ayup Yup" is cool. My favorite could also be Roscoe who unlike Reneigh I haven't actually had him yet, I wish I could put this in more detail but why I like Roscoe is just pretty simple and straightforward, he is one of my favorite colors, one of my favorite personalities, his house is cool, his biker jacket is awesome, honestly none of the horses really appeal to me, Julian is okay, he still lives with me, but I don't know I guess I just don't adore Julian although I still like him.

Ugh how am I supposed to decide, I love all the eagles! Maybe Apollo because I like his simple design and house and he plays one of my favorite K.K songs in it. And then there's Buzz who REALLY looks like a cranky like this guy looks MAD, his design is already enough for me to like him(but what's with the parking lot house Buzz?) Amelia looks like a pretty vulture and her house is on point, playing one of my favorite K.K songs too. Avery's pattern look like Native American or Aztec designs which is a cool design choice for a eagle same as Amelia he plays K.K Condor one of my favorite K.K songs and finally the best part about Avery, his favorite saying is basically "Karma"
Celia is just downright adorable and sweet. Frank looks so colorful. Sterling is a brave knight eagle. Quinn looks awesome. Pierce looks beautiful and Keaton well I just love him. So you can see I'm having troubles deciding.

As I probably already posted, Colton is my favorite horse. Recently, I've been inviting a lot of eagle villagers since there are many whose photos I don't have yet. Celia is rapidly becoming a favorite. I like her design and color scheme and I like that she's a bigger animal who wears the cute style, kind of like Rilla.
Of the horses I'd have to say Elmer. Something about his default face makes him look a little dazed and confused that really adds to his personality. For the Eagles I'd have to give it to Frank just because I love that bright green color and my island is Tropical-themed.

Avery because his coloring is beautiful. I didn’t know he even existed until I fell in love with him. One day I was just buying things in Nookazon, and I saw him up for sell. I bought him. I spent a couple of million bells on him, but it was worth it. I haven’t regretted having him in my town.
I think he also kind of transformed my color palette. I was sort of going for an all black villager color palette, and after adding Avery, it turned black, grey and yellow. I didn’t even think I was a person who liked eagle villagers until I met Avery.

I really like Avery and Reneigh. I have Cleo on my island and she is lovely too.
