Who are your favorite Horse & Eagle villagers - and Why?

I've never been too keen on either the horse or the eagle villagers, I got Keaton as one of my starting villagers and found him annoying, lol. So I got rid of him as soon as I could.

I feel like horses don't really get that much appreciation, but personally I love them!

Hands down my favorite is Reneigh...she is one of my all-time favorite villagers. Epona is pretty close though, I'm sad she's not in NH. I also love Papi, he was my first lazy to move to my current island and he's so cute. Julian was my forced camper. I've never actually had him before, but since I'm planning to do fairycore he was on my radar. I was shocked when he was my first camper! He just moved in yesterday, but I'm looking forward to getting to know him.

Annalise and Celia......I didn't expect to really like either one of them but after they moved to my town/island they kinda grew on me.Colton and Buzz would be next on my list.

I love Colton, Reneigh, and Apollo. Reneigh is just gorgeous and Colton is a pretty dork. Apollo is a sweetie who is cranky but sings all the time.

I also love that Reneigh wears clothes with such style. She was gifted a lot of appropriate clothes before I got her and she wears them all instead of displaying them. She's so cute. I've gifted Colton a lot of noble coats, royal shirt, sea captain's coats and he wears all of them. The horses look great in the clothes. They are fashion plates for sure. <3

I quite like the Horses and Eagles.

With horses, my top favorite is Cleo, with Colton, Reneigh, Julian, and Annalise close behind. Winnie, Victoria, and Elmer are also really cute.

Eagles, I really like Apollo and Sterling. I like the new one, Quinn as well!

Gotta say that I love the horses soo much! My favorites are surely Julian, Colton, Cleo and Reneigh! Julian and Colton were adorable boyfriends on my NL town, I really love their styles, both charming and somewhat magical, Cleo is sooo adorable with the sparkly white and the white blaze, also purple is one of my fav colors and Reneigh is hands down my favorite sisterly, I'll search for her in my next villager hunt. For the eagles, I don't like them that much but I love Celia with all my heart, she was one of my first 3 villagers on NL town, and I have like 10 photos of my precious girl, and also really like Quinn the new one, again, they're purple and they look both like a prince or a nice sisterly villager

I love all of the horses but if I had to settle on one I'd say my favourite is Savannah. She was on my island for about a year too and wouldn't mind seeing her come back at some stage. Close second and third are Annalise and Papi.

Eagles - design-wise I really like Keaton. Wouldn't mind him on my island too as love the colours!

This topic is right up my alley since I have both a permanent Horse and Eagle on my island.

Reneigh

She's freaking amazing. I love her colors so much, they go well together while having multiple colors going on. Her home interior is also pretty awesome. In terms of Sisterly ladies, she was by far my favorite. I have had many ladies come and go on my island, but Reneigh has always been safe to stay forever!

Pierce

Pierce is such a sweetheart and overall a large part of my island's social history with out going he has been to my other villagers. He threw my birthday party and also gave me the Festive Wreath recipe, he's basically my #1 to rely on. Not sure how others can't love his simple and yet beautiful coloring. And his wings!!! They are gorgeous.

Maybe I should give them a chance.... i wish I could have 20 villagers on my island!.....although with the HHA Dlc it will kinda be like having more villagers...

Horse: Roscoe. I like his dark color palette, bright red eyes and his permanently angry expression.
Eagle: Keaton. I just love his eyes, lashes and color scheme.

I like a lot of the horsed. Elmer or Savannah would be my favorite. First, Savannah is a zebra, which is so cute! She was also one of my first villagers ever in my Wild World town, so I love her. Lazy's are my favorite type and I have Elmer in my new City Folk town; he's super cute and I love the dark humor of his name. Reneigh is also super cool. She was one of my starters for New Horizons.

Eagles are one of my least favorite animal types, but Celia is so pretty. She has such a simple but cute/classy design.

I love horses irl, and I wanted to love them in Animal Crossing. But the peanut shaped heads are just too different from a horse's real head shape, it weirds me out. I've tried a bunch of horse villagers seeing if I can get over it, but they never last long. So my favorites are the ones that aren't technically horses, like Savannah the Zebra and Papi the Okapi. I imagine Zebras and Okapi don't have peanut shaped heads, either. But I haven't handled them a lot irl, so I'm less aware of the discrepancy than I am with horses. Victoria's mask makes the proportions of her face less obvious, so I like her too. Besides which her house is awesome.

I love eagles wholeheartedly. Avery was my first eagle so he has a special place in my heart. Other favorites are Celia, Sterling, and Pierce. Quinn is also rapidly growing on me every time I see her picture.

My favorite horses are Julian and Roscoe. Julian for two reasons: He's a unicorn, and he's a light blue color, which is my favorite color. I also love the interior of his house. For Roscoe, I just really like his design. The shape and color of his eyes give him an angry sort of look. Of the two, I only have Julian on my island at the moment, but I would love to have Roscoe as well at some point.
Honorable mentions: Savannah, Reneigh, and Colton

My favorite eagle is Apollo. Similar to Roscoe, I like Apollo's expression, and I also just like the fact that he's a bald eagle. There's something nice about villagers that look like actual species of animals.

For eagles, I have a special attachment to Apollo because he was literally my first Animal Crossing villager in any game, period (I met him in Pocket Camp). He was pretty cool, and managed to stay in my camp for quite a long time too, just so muscular and confident.

For horses... none that I could think of (which is ironic, since I was born in the year of the horse according to the Chinese Zodiac). I guess if I really have to pick one, it would be Roscoe, the only one with me the longest in Pocket Camp. He was cranky, but I like his fashion style.

i love reneigh and avery. reneigh has a really pretty design and i think avery is super cool, eagle villagers in general deserve way more love

i love colton, papi, savannah and peaches.... but my favorite would probably be savannah.

as for eagles, apollo is the only one i've ever had in any animal crossing game. avery looks cool but i don't really want any eagles on either of my islands :/

I like Julian and Reneigh, both are dreamies currently. I've been hoping for a black appaloosa style horse in the game for a while, to match my real life horse. I can dream, I guess haha.

For eagles... I'm not sure I really have a connection to them? Quinn looks like they'll be neat but I guess my pick is Pearce since he was in my town in Wild World, my first Animal Crossing game. I was like in the 5th or 6th grade and didn't understand the catch phrases and always thought it was weird for him to keep saying 'hawkeye' lol

I suppose it's just an artistic choice. (well, it is, obviously lol). IMO, it's better than what has happened to My Little Pony over the last couple of generations, where now they have round heads and very, very small snouts. Compared to MLP's recent design choices, the horses in Animal Crossing still very much look like appropriately horse-like cartoon horses to me. lol.

Papi-cause of his nature, his house, his look and that I especially love that he looks like a Quagga or Okapi.

Sterling-He's the only Eagle I've ever had and he's been a bro to me since day one, always gave me authentic art and keeps the streets clean. I love my birdbrain buff bro.

My favorite horse is Julian. He's one of the "mythical" villagers, and I have him on my island. He's also my birthday twin!

My favorite eagle is Pierce, but if I'm being honest, I really like just about all the eagle villagers (their designs are so cool!!) I also have Pierce on my island.
