Who Are Your Villager Must Haves? (Dreamies)

Can I ask... and I've seen a lot of that too in the thread for picking your wanted Uchi/Jock starters... why Hazel? Why do so many people like the unibrow character?

Not attacking your choice, just want to understand what it is about the character design that appeals to people.

i honestly didn't know people liked hazel besides me lol so i'd like to also meet fellow hazel lovers.

someone mentioned the contrast between cute and ugly and i believe thats a good point why some people may like her. definitely one of the reasons i like her now but her design actually isnt the reason i liked her in the first place. i liked her because how tomboy-ish she is (im a sucker for tomboy characters) and her really cute catchphrase "uni-wow". plus being an uchi-type character she is also very nice to the player. i like her personality so much i grew to love the design as well.

I?d eventually love to have Lucky, Wolfgang, and Dobie move in. Any of the wolves really.

i'm happy to see some dobie lovers. dobie is a nice wolfie who needs a nice vacation home for sure. the wolves are all very lovely characters! i do enjoy them very much. my favorite so far are skye and dobie!! i think there's more, a male one, can't remember who right now tho for some reason. freya is nice too! lucky is nice- i actually haven't gotten around to meeting a doggo i love as yet, but i think it would be benjamin <3

ohh my god. i just remembered zucker exists and how good he looks in the new game

i don't recall seeing a max villager limit anywhere yet but considering there can be up to 8? human players, villager limit might be 8 down from acnl's 10? depends on how big the map will be in order to fit that many houses plus whatever shops and outdoor stuff. but i WILL have you zucker

the octopus villagers look a lot better in new horizons for sure. i was surprised b/c after viewing comparisons, i was like, they looked sorta gross before?? but they look a lot smoother, cleaner and softer, but making things "soft" always makes them better looking somehow- like facetune LMAO though that can also make you look silly- but anyway it soft just the right amount on them tbh! i love zucker and my bf likes him too

IF you look at a lot of PAX east footage they only used up like 1/3rd ish of the space and they had like Ables, Nook's Cranny, Museum, 5 villagers, and 2 houses on it.... so I think this map is much bigger than anticipated. I think its at the very least 10, but i hope we get 15 for a good even number, or 16 to equal 2 of each personality and the original AC number

the current twitter is going through Nook Phone apps, tomorrow they will talk about the map app and I think we may find out the villager quota then.

Also I responded yesterday to this, which made me think about my ten dreamy villager line up and of course its changing
I am pending a trade for a plucky amiibo card and I think I'm gonna use her over Renee.

PLUCKY!! i love her!!! i had her in one of my towns and omg she was my first chicken and i loved her so much, she's one of the cutest villagers i've ever seen and im love. thank u

anyway aside from plucky love, i still do love your line up everyone is fantastic and o'hare is perfect for islands tbh but so is the zucker lad, of course

Honestly, I have quite a few dreamies, but I've never had Diana and Pekoe, and I just want them to live in my town.

pekoe is cute and i think would fit an island nicely as well! diana is gorgeous of course so she's going to be fabulous on a nice island, she'll make it look top notch and ~FANCY~ with her natural im elegant aesthetics LOL i hope you get all your dreamies!!

Punchy is my animal crossing BFF so he'll be an islander as soon as the game allows me to scan his card in lol. I also really like Marshal from my New Leaf town but don't have his card so hopefully he decides to come along to the island too. Other than that the new cat villager with heterochromia looks super interesting, and the new purple bear (hamster?) with anime eyes looks really cute so hopefully I get to see them on my island adventure too. c:

i love the anime eyes cotton candy baby bear cubby cub she's soooo adorable and she's a must have for me for sure. there's so many.. i do wish the cap was 15 to fill us with lots to enjoy but what can ya do apparently it'll be 12 from leaked info but we don't know for suuuure~~ regardless, i do hope to get a lot on my island! there's too many to choose from ;A;

I want to meet as many new villagers as I can so I’m only keeping a few and let the others come and go. I must have Marshal living beside me though since that’s always been the case for all my New Leaf towns. I’d be happy to keep Pekoe too. Her design and house in New Leaf always clashes with almost everything in town but I’m Asian and she’s just so irresistible to me. She feels like home. Save from them, I’d be happy to have Chief, Mint, Bluebear and Marina around if they will show up in my town.

i'm going to try and avoid dreamies for a little while and just let the game somewhat play its natural course, but some of my fav villagers i'd love on my island are fauna, molly, june, dobie, diana, o'hare, maddie, teddy, lily and kiki ! not forgetting the new villagers we haven't met yet, plus a potentially larger villager limit!

i love all of those too, there's so many lovely villagers in this game. it will supposedly be 12, so that would give us 2 more extra than new leaf if that information is correct! either way, i doubt we'd all be getting our dreamies right away even if we have amiibo cards because we do still need to build the campsite and pay for its construction and all that good stuff! i cant wait to see this game ;A;

Yes! I'm hoping the villager max will be higher (maybe with functionality like NL, where you had to invite a camper to get a 10th villager; for those who don't want too many, it'd be great as an opt-in system) too, I love seeing villagers interact. Hopefully they'll do that more often again. I feel like WW, villager conversations happened all the time, but in NL it's rarer.

Glasses cat and new wolf are really fun-looking, too. Glasses cat reminds me of all my favorite anime characters, like Kyoya from Ouran.

Yeah, it's a shame for the sheep to be all tucked away inside a sweater! I thought the scarves really suited Muffy's style especially. Wonder why they changed it.

i loved ouran high school host club! and kyouya was great! he was my favorite, so calm and cool, but honestly- so was mori-senpai!! anyway off topic LMAO the new wolf and meowie definitely do look very adorable and pretty. they're already fan favorites and climbing the rankings pretty darn high!

i'm sure with forum, it'll be hopefully, a lot more easier to get your villagers. i hope things won't be very overpriced tho LOL and there's always nice people around who help for free!

aww that's nice! i'm glad you have that comfort of a villager kind of feeling like, they represent you in some way! i'm also asian, but south asian :^) tho not born there! anyway, pekoe is very cute. it's nice to have a few and have the rest come and go because there's so many wonderful villagers to experience! i hope you have a lovely experience in this one as well, with marshal too <3

i can get bored easily too which is why i had 5 different towns with constant changes with it, villagers and often my paths when i wanted to spice it up! my for sure one will be bob~ but i hope i can have some other ones that make me just as happy too~ it'll be a mess to get him too soon bc i dont wanna lose him early on by a random move lol

that sounds awful! i hope you're able to get the card safely.. i know there are mail delays bc of the whole virus panic but hopefully your card arrives soon to you. if that fails, i'm sure you can have the forum to rely on to get your villagers!
