Why are Kangaroo villagers disliked?

General question I have because I don't understand why people dislike them alot, not sure if people dislike the females more but Walt is amazing so when I see this its sad honestly!

I don't mind them, I just find their proportions odd. Also, having a mini-version of them staring at you is a little weird to me.

I like them, but it may be because people think their babies are creepy since they share the same facial expressions and the mother doesn't really interact with the baby. I wish they did tbh, it'd be really cute if the mother could mention her baby every now and then.

Also, kangaroos are pretty scary irl so that might not help lmao

I like Walt and Rooney, they're just not very popular. Maybe because of the shape of the models?

Marcie is lovely and I love her! I don't really like how the babies copy their expressions tho ;;;
and I think the male kangaroos are....ugly (no offense)

I just think the joeys are weird, but I don't mind them overall. I really wish they'd do something else with the joeys though. Makes me uneasy.

I'm not a fan of them but I don't really dislike them either. I don't know if I've ever had one in my town to make a definitive judgement. I don't really like the look of any of them, though, so they wouldn't be my first picks.

I dont like their babies that much XD Sorry if that sounded impolite lol, but like others said, they weird me out for some reason. I dont have anything else against their models in general and some of them look cute.

I like some of the kangaroo species, but it‘s true that the joeys look wierd. They look creepy and lifeless sometimes and they pretty much copy the emotions as well. I wish they did give the joeys more interaction though.

Eh I don't really dislike them. I sometimes forget they have a young baby with them but I find it kind of neat. Mathilda is my fav Kangaroo. I've had Sylvia as my first villager I mean yeah, I didn't want her as my Sisterly but I don't get why people dislike her so much. I never knew we had a couple of male kangaroos tbh

Idk, they're pretty cute. But I personally wish their babies had a different facial expression/didn't blink at the same time as the mother. It always killed any appeal I had for kangaroos because it was so creepy to me. The males are fine, though. No pouch.

I think they're cute! I like the concept of the joeys. For the male roos, I think I'm only really fond of Walt.

I actually love them! Especially Marcie, she's really sweet. It's just hard because there are sooo many cute villagers and I can't say I favor the kangaroos over some of the other species.

I think the lil joeys are precious though
