another thing I think we can limit by is the post date. I don't think they would have added to any posts made after they opened camp, since that would mean the answer wouldn't have existed when the first mountain groups got to this riddle.

of course, I may be mistaken and they did actively come up with new questions for each mountain group.... :/

My assumption from the beginning is that there are just 3 clues they made up for Wildlife Spotting and Birdwatching each, which is why the "Do not share your cabin's clues and answers with other cabins arriving from other weeks." rule exists. It's also why I've felt like, no matter what difficulties we've faced with this, we'll get it figured out at some point since the other 3 cabins before us did take until Thursday-Friday to solve their second clue iirc.

Of course, if that assumption is wrong then welp, gib hints plz

(I'll note that I haven't been actively looking due to work. I'll try to get back on trying to figure this out once I'm done work)

I'm also curios where exactly can these images appear? Like, only on the staff's posts or literally anywhere?

It can be any posts, based off of previous egg hunts.

Yeah my first thought upon reading the riddle was Resetti... The "bearer" thing makes me think it's something else, though. That would be an odd term to use for Resetti.

I checked Mick's dream island and there's nothing that would seem to fit the riddle. I've tried putting LUCY, MICHEL, SPAREDNOEXPENSE, and SHOOTFORTHESTARS. Nothing. I have a feeling we're straying farther from the answer.

Let's stop and think first. For Evergreens, their first riddle was Splatoon related, correct? Well what if the clue we're looking for is not in the Animal Crossing universe, but a different Nintendo franchise?

I think bearer could just refer to the actual meaning of bearer x it being a picture of a bear, but it was worth exploring the Mick avenue

This guess is getting into some kinda conspiracy brain/"Sylvia please slow down" territory but what if Jeremy appearing in this thread to say that something was broken for the first hour actually is the answer, somehow? I would say that's it's a highly unusual(irregular) appearance of one who tends to give news (regular bearer?)
