Will you be buying Physical or Digital?

I'm torn. The idea of ACS being portable wherever I go without switching a cartridge is appealing. But I am a physical person so I would want something tangible.

What are you guys opinion on this?

I'm stuck in the middle as well. It would be so convenient without switching cartridges, but also like physical copies. If I can expand my space, I'd consider a soft copy? Still thinking about it lol.

I'm torn on this.. I have my ACNL copy as digital so that I didn't have to worry about switching cartridges since I was normally playing another 3DS game on top of New Leaf at all times. But with Switch, I don't actually have any other games to play on it so I wouldn't be changing cartridges much. And I'm not planning on taking my Switch outside the house. So I'm leaning more towards physical this time.. but I'm still undecided.

For me, I think it'll depend on how towns are kept.
I'm assuming it'll be one town per-cartridge, so that's what I'll be going with.

I kinda prefer physical over digital for many years now, however, I don't have a big problem
with digital versions of games at all. Right now, I would say I gonna buy the physical version
of it.

I might cave and get a digital copy... only because where I live there's a high chance the game might get here later than the release date. But I do prefer having a physical copy.

I'm buying digital, so it's always with me. Sometimes if I need to wait some other game to update, I can make short visit to my village. :)

Physical copy of the game unless there’s no other way of obtaining it except through eshop (example is the aa: dual destinies and spirit of justice games that can only be bought digitally here in America)

I'm playing a lot of Smash, all my games are physical except Smash and I haven't regretted it. But AC is something else.
I hope we get a switch bundle. That will certainly make up my mind.

Physical. May work out cheaper and won't take up any digital storage space (minus save and update data). And if I lose interest (blasphemy!) I can always sell it.

Physical. The UK Nintendo eShop is never the cheapest for new releases.

I usually prefer digital, but I really don't know, considering I don't have a Switch yet.

Physical. I don't really have a good reason except that I like having a physical copy.

I only buy digital when I don't have the option of a physical copy. And since I almost always play my Switch in handheld mode, swapping out carts isn't an issue.

Both.

Digital to play, physical to have it represented in my Switch library.

I like your thinkin'

Physical first, possibly a digital version for convenience.

Not something I usually do but if it's anything like the other AC games I'll only be playing for an hour or so each day before changing to another game, whereas most other games I can play JUST that for weeks. For convenience sake and the fact I'll probably be playing it near every day for the foreseeable future, it'll just be so much easier to have a digital copy of this one.
