My birthday was 3 days ago (July 25th) and it's time for my typical bday giveaway. I'm not as active as I used to be so this is later than usual but hey, better late than never

How to Enter
I want to know a video game quote that is thought provoking/philosophical. Let me know which quote left a lasting impression on you + which game it's from (if you remember). In the case that 2+ people write the same one, the person who said it first gets the prize. You don't need to explain it (I'm not an English teacher...yet) unless you want to add a few sentences.

Prizes
The best quote (according to my completely non-arguable, 100% factual opinion) will receive a tasty chocolate cake.
My 2 second favourites will each get a famous mushroom

This is very nice of you, thanks for the giveaway! I also absolutely love the tattoo, and when I eventually get my first tattoo it will probably end up being bloodborne/souls themed as well. For my favourite quote, while I like quite a lot of the bloodborne ones, i'd have to go for this...

It's from my favourite video game of all time, and I really love this quote. I usually just remember the first part since my memory is pretty bad (had to google it again to get the second half haha) but it shows to me that even when you're going through the hardest of times and are in the darkest of places in your life, if you keep persevering then you will always make it out to the other side. I was also going through a bit of depression when I was playing through new vegas, and it gave me a way to escape from reality, so when I saw that quote it really gave me a bit of hope for my situation. I also really loved Joshua Grahams character and felt sorry for him in a way, despite all his evil deeds in game.

My fav quote has to be:

Maybe it's looking a bit too much into a simple quote from the game, but it really has been hitting me deep for the last years. I think it shows that time is always moving forward, and as time goes on, things start to change. People grow up and experience silly thoughts that will turn into a more refined though process. Fleeting infatuation can turn into something more, that being love. Really, everything and everyone will experience some kind of growth, but they are still the same individuals overall. One should reflect on themselves with a clear mind, and that stimulates mature growth.
