Not submitting yet, but I have a question about my entry. Do the wings absolutely have to be sticking out for it to count? I have these golden bird statues that could work (it's implied that there's feathers and whatnot on them), but the wings aren't sticking out, so in my mind it wouldn't count. Oddly enough I don't seem to own much of anything that has wings. If this doesn't work, I will keep looking.

We can count this; we've accepted both real and fake birds with folded wings. As long as it's not just a flat image of a bird but an actual object, you're good

She assured me that putting pigeons in a potion would be a terrible beginner's mistake. I didn't dare ask too many questions, though, so I'm still not entirely sure what she needs it for. Sorry!
