would you use gyroids if they came to NH?

i'm wondering about whether they would be popular to use if gyroids were in NH. i liked them in WW, but i feel like it was because they matched the offbeat and silly nature of the game. in NH, i feel like the general attitude of the game is not as odd and gyroids wouldn't really fit with my island's aesthetic. what about you guys?

I'd use gyroids to...make bells by dropping them in the Nook's Cranny drop box.

I've always found them as annoying while trying to find fossils. I'll admit this won't be an issue now because my Fossil exhibit is already completed.

Big nope. They never did much for me, and I was also always very annoyed when it rained because it meant I'd have to be digging them up the next day. They're silly, yes, but I don't think they would be that good for decorating - there are many other kinds of items that I would much rather see.

I would use some of them if they come back, but I'm not begging them to be put back in or anything.

However, I know that my boyfriend misses them a lot and said he would put them everywhere if they come back, so I guess it depends what sort of person you are.

I enjoyed using them in WW trying to make combinations of noises with music. But unfortunately I always had to throw them because I didn't have enough space to put all the items I wanted.

And now that we have the whole island to put them wherever we want and make some funny atmospheres, they are missing

joining in on the gyroid hate apparently! I also found them annoying to dig up after it rained, and personally I just never found much of a use for them? I could maybe put them in somewhere but it's no great loss to me if we never see them again. but I do know that other people are big fans of gyroids and would love them back so I'm not entirely opposed I guess

I am... a gyroid fan. I always had some use for them in my NL towns. I always thought they were more suitable outdoors so I‘d definitely use them in my forested areas.

I never had much use for them in NL or CF, but now that we can place furniture outside I think they'd look so cute in forests, lining streets, in plazas...

If they ever get added I feel like I'd use them a lot actually!

ONLY if there was a way to donate them to the museum. Otherwise, I believe they don't have a point, and would try to bury the first one I found behind something so that they never appeared again.

I probably would have a few around for fun and maybe one in my house. I can't remember if you can set them on top of furniture or not.

I've never really been a fan of them - it was actually surprising to see how many people missed them. A museum exhibit might be cool, but I probably still won't use them to decorate.

I miss them a lot! My favourites were the ones that sounded like bells (the dingloids). Honestly, they go really well with the whole tropical island theme. I would've thought they'd included gyroids in the very beginning.. Anyway once Brewster is in, the gyroids will be in. He is a huge collector of gyroids so maybe they will be the rewards for whatever he wants you to do.

Nope. Never used them in wild world or city folk either. The noises they make annoyed me, and I didn’t like digging them up.

I usually never used them. I honestly found many of them to look really... bland and unappealing. Plus having them move and make really unsettling or awful sounds just made them worse.

I would like to see them come back but maybe as an item you get from redd and having the option to customise them might help. Since I hated digging them up and being able the theme them might help.

I think they would look cute in the music room of my house but I can understand why people would find them pretty useless and annoying.

I like them, the variation was good and the noises they made were cute especially if it went well with the music you were playing. I think I would use them and I would definitely give them as gifts. They’re like having a little friend in your house at all times lol

I’d like them back eventually, but I won’t be heartbroken if they never come back. I have some areas that would definitely benefit from them.

I love gyroids! They've always been one of my favorite collectables because of their funny sounds. I always felt like they would be better outdoors, so since NH is the first game where we can put whatever we want outdoors, I'd probably go overboard scattering them around.
