Would you like to live for 200 years?

No. I don't even want to make it to 50.

Also I can only imagine what you would look like if you lived to be 200. You'd most likely be extremely disabled by then, so life wouldn't even be fun.

Only if I didn't age and had a dog that lived as long as me.

I really like the thought process most people have put into this question, i'm bumping this up because theres still 1 day to vote.

Well, what about friends? They aren't family. And then their friends and family will die around them if they're allowed to live. Also, if you fall in love, get a boyfriend or girlfriend and get married, they aren't technically your family. They would die too, that would be heart-wrenching, wouldn't it?

Well, marriage is letting someone into your family. I don't know what your point is about that, because losing loved ones is a part of life itself. Your parents are bound to die before you, your siblings could die at any point, and your significant other will die before you, but the one thing you should have is your children.

Perhaps your children could inherit your 200 years of life from you, and then they'd be able to live with you. And they could have your grandchildren and they could live 200 years. Did you think about that?

yes I'd be willing to live that long because I'd like to see mars/moon colonies, aliens, and time machines before I die

we already have hoverboards and touchpad technology, so it's only a matter of time before we get the really cool stuff

everyone is dead on the inside anyways

but at the end all the earth would be populated with your generation and it would be the same as nowadays but with a lifespan of 200 hundred years, right?

Only if the aging slowed down.. like at age 100 I would be equivalent to a 50 year old. Then sure why not.. other wise no way lol.

if i could choose the age i stay at & if my family could do the same as well as live the same length of time, then yes, i'd love to see how the world changes. otherwise, hell no.

No, I don't think I'd want to live that long. Even 100 years sounds like a bit much for me.

In another way, I'd be curious as to what technological advances have been made, especially with medicine. But for the most part, no.

Sure, why not? Lowers the problem of not realistically having enough time to do everything I would like to...Assuming my body ages appropriately along with it of course.

As for seeing friends and family die, screw it. Most people end up seeing their friends and family die anyway.

ugh. no thanks, the average human lifespan is long enough..

Definitely not. I think I would get bored of living after so long. My time on this earth is limited, so I want to make the most of it while I can. I don't want to extend that time span, I wouldn't appreciate it as much.
