For the 1000th time I hear laurel XD but my brother can hear yanny lol. This is interesting..

i have 4 siblings old enough to comprehend this, all 5 of us listened to it and we all agreed that we heard laurel. whats going on

How was it pronounced? Was is short a (as in band) or short o (as in fox)? I thought it was pronounced with a short a.

For me, the "a" in yanny is a short a like in "band".
I can't for the life of me hear Laurel, I've tried changing the volume or listening through earbuds but I still hear yanny !!!! Only time I hear Laurel is in those YouTube vids that change the pitch to a higher one.

Yanny isn't even a word you guys. Why would anyone say it?

I voted Yanny since that's what I kept hearing at first, but now I can hear both Yanny and Laurel.

This just made the biggest debate in my home. I hear Laurel, my sister hears Yanny. I have NO idea how people can't hear the L or the R, and she got no idea how I can't hear the y's hahahahahaha
