Your 2018 Christmas List

Money is tight for my family in the US, so I mostly just asked for practical things that will last me a long time. Mesh laundry bags so my socks won't get lost in the wash, a heattech scarf from Uniqlo, a nice pair of navy and silver earrings, a warm thigh-length black open cardigan with big pockets from LOFT (I'm always freezing at work)... But I did also ask for an NFC card reader after my mom insisted on at least one "fun" item, and bought myself all 50 of the Welcome Amiibo RV cards so I can start redecorating all of my ACNL homes with new themes.

But I asked for more frivolous things from my former host family in Japan. Character goods with Mikyan and Barysan on them, some cute file folders, a limited-edition cherry blossom design Starbucks tumbler, and a new custom-made purse where the pocket is made out of an old obi (my current one is getting all frayed!). In return, I'm going to send them a big ol' box of American and European chocolate, candy and chips for their three grandchildren to enjoy snacking on.

That sounds super sweet! I bet they'll really appreciate that n.n
I remember watching YouTube videos of people opening up care packages from their friends in other countries and I always thought that was super unique <3

I've asked for a sweater haha but I'm also hoping to get Smash Bros Ultimate. Going to ask my grandma for a year's subscription to sirius xm for my new (used) car since there's a deal going rn and it's way cheaper.
